I haven’t personally been here yet but so far when i’ve called and stopped in they been nothing but helpful. This place has good expertise on their staff and prices are way better than going to the dealership. Especially in Los Angeles with how expensive it can be and i’m new to the area. I plan to get all my work done here.

My wife was screaming at me from across town on her cell because her Jaguar started vibrating really badly. So I found AE German had good reviews and had her tow it there. The PCV valve was bad, they quickly diagnosed it and said they could squeeze us in before they closed. (It was Saturday, so 2:00) wife was happy a said her car ran better than it has in a long time. I give 4 stars because we had an "administrative glitch " that Could have been avoided. Chris stepped up and fixed everything, he is a real honest guy and I strongly recommend seeking him out for your appointment. Highly recommend The shop.

If i could give this place 10 stars I would! This place REALLY LIVES UP TO ITS NAME! trust the reviews, i did, and it got me such great service on my BMW by such great people. Chris and team were able to quickly navigate my concerns and get me taken care of. While i came in for a relatively small repair, chris and team found an even bigger issue in my engine that would have been REALLY BAD if they didnt take care of it when they did. I am so grateful. DO NOT under any circumstances go to BMW santa monica for any service or repair. Instead, come to AE where you will get TRUSTED service by people who care and WILL NOT SCAM YOU!

If I could give AE German Auto Repair a million stars, I would!!!!! I will now be a loyal customer for LIFE!! They are so exceptional across the board!! Kris the service manager is above and beyond!!! He is so KIND, knowledgeable and accessible, as is everyone there. The team of geniuses there is helmed by the extraordinary Nick, and includes the other master mechanics: Paul, Gustavo, and Erwin. Thanks also to Gerry and Vladimir. Their work is IMPECCABLE and their prices are so reasonable especially for German autos!! They worked on my BMW and it was much less than I had been quoted elsewhere!! The work that was was done on my BMW was executed in a timely manner and done PERFECTLY!! These guys are literally angels in human bodies!!! I am so thankful to have found them, and will never go anywhere else!!!

I go here for an oil change and check-up. Very friendly and honest people. My dad used to own a German car mechanic shop (sold it recently, so is familiar with current market pricing). He checked their quotes for me; they hardly mark up their parts and the labor is very reasonable! It's very easy to drop off your car - just give them a call and they're likely to tell you to bring it in whenever.

The most honest auto repair shop in Los Angeles! Jerry, Nick, Chris and the entire crew are fantastic. These guys are not about the money, they are about great service and making their customers happy. They are truly knowledgeable when it comes to foreign cars, they do a great job, and I highly recommend them. You will not find a better place in the entire area. I drove one hour to have them look at my car today and I will continue to make the drive any time I need service for my Mercedes.Services: General repairs & maintenance

This shop and the entire crew are the best in Los Angeles. I have never seen honesty as what these guys practice when it comes to service charges.They are knowledgeable and provide great service at reasonable prices.Today I drove over one hour to have them perform a service I needed. I will continue to make the long drive anytime I ever need service for myMercedes. If I could give them 1,000 stars I would!! Highly recommend.

Nice to find a local german mechanic. Most of the time I just need minor stuff but they do it with a good attitude. Hopefully, no big jobs coming up, but I trust them enough. I always go with OEM for most parts; lessens the chances of issues, especially with the way things are manufactured during supply chain/raw materials issues

After a negative experience at Santa Monica BMW, I needed an easy and quick mechanic on the westside (toddler mom). After calling 5 places (including BMW BH), I came across AE. Chris was genuinely kind and straightforward on the phone. The service was QUICK and the price made sense. Moreover, you just get a good vibe from the people who work there. No frills, good work. Thankful that I have a new go-to mechanic...:but I hope I don't have to see them too often!
