No transparency about their policy, put the interest of their shop over the interest of their costumers and make up policies as they go.Another costumer left a negative review after he experienced a similar behavior of Bike Attack some months ago.I am now filing a complaint at Department of Consumer and Business Affairs. I would like to know that other costumers do not run into similar problems.

I've now been here 6 or 7 times and every single time I leave, I am extremely happy. They are always available and super helpful. Robert in particular is beyond awesome. He always takes care of me and is super nice. If you need bike help, this is your spot!

Awesome bikes and customer service from Frank/Manager who sold me a Scott Patron, my first ebike. Also Neal and George have kept it well tuned after many hundreds of mountain biking miles.

I found their communication to be excellent. They assembled my bike and deliver it for a reasonable charge and I can't wait to start using it and use it by on them.

Frank and Robert were so helpful in helping me outfit my new bike! Super kind and patient. Definitely recommend them for tune ups or general advice.

Small shop, good variety of e-bikes and on the high side of price, it comes with the location, location, location.

We were visiting for the weekend and popped in to ask some questions about a bike we were thinking about. What an amazing staff - they gave us honest reviews, options, and recommendations. It was wonderful getting to know them and I am so grateful for the time they took helping us!

Terrible return policy and customer service.Sales person told me I can return the bike within 7 days of purchase with a potential 20% restocking fee for a full refund. After 3 days and under 8 miles on it, they circled back and said all sales are final and they can only do store credit. It says on their own website they may agree to do a “courtesy refund for your order within two weeks”.One of the worst retail experiences I’ve ever had. Bike is in mint condition with the issue being it doesn’t fit in my apt.Buy direct from the brand and don’t deal with these hucksters.

STAY AWAY from this retailer. I would give this store ZERO stars if I could. We went to check on some electric bikes a few months ago. We wanted to test drive one of them and were asked to leave a credit card to ride it in the alley with one of the associates present. I reluctantly gave them a card with a low limit that I hardly ever use. This was a card that was always kept in an RFID wallet and which I had never before given to anyone else. Lo and behold, the following day two fraudulent charges were made on the card. To make matters worse, the sales assistants had zero interest in selling any of the bikes. They gave no specific information about them nor did they answer our questions. The bikes were not even properly stored. Needless to say, we purchased our bikes from another bike shop in Santa Monica where we spent a nice amount of money.

once you buy a bike from them they won't do anything for you again --- they will talk to you but other than that they are finished with you -- I bought and had a brand new bike from them and wanted to trade for something else more expensive --they said they would give $600 for a $2,700 bike -- and to sell it on e-bay (it's not like I bought it somewhere else and was trying to sell it to them -- I bought it from them) -- good customer service would of been to just trade and make me happy -- it would of cost them nothing -- I will get a new bike but won't buy it from them --- i suggest you offer them $600 for any new bike they are trying to sell you ---- they don't care about their reputation or customer service -- guess maybe because of their location they don't have to be bothered with either ---

My experience was okay— although I can’t speak to the quality of the repairs I was recommended this shop for that reason by a friend. Brought my bike in and received an estimate via email. Was told that no shops around had the shifter that I needed so they asked me to buy one online, fine. Received the shifter and sent an email to the shop asking for another estimate to get it rideable as cheaply as possible. No one answered after two days so I went into the shop to discuss. Was told that the mechanic was out for the next few days, I asked if I could take my bike with me. I was first told it wasn’t there, I saw it and told them it was. Then I was told I couldn’t take it because they didn’t know if work had been done. The shop had sent me pictures and you could tell no work had been done but they still said they couldn’t be sure. I went in the next day and they called the mechanic, said I could take it but the “appraisal” would be $40. I told them I could pay $20 but that’s it and they agreed saying that storage is typically $10/day.Do with that information what you will I just felt like there was an overall lack of communication and the need to get SOME money out of me, even if it meant nickel-and-diming or adding fees that were not discussed from the outset.

These people have always gone the extra step and said yes to whatever I needed, and did a great job always. They built my first SONDORS when another bike shop refused and just repaired a flat on my new SONDORS when three local shops said no. And they do everything promptly and well.

I went in twice to inquire about buying an electric bike and both times they couldn't be bother to talk to me. I explained the make and model of e-bike I wanted and it wasn't in stock so I asked them to call or text me when one comes in so I could buy it and they said they don't do that. I'm sure if the owner of the business knew his employees were to lazy to make a phone call for a $2300 sale he wouldn't be too happy. I bought the bike in Glendora at Bike Central where they took the time to let me test ride many bikes and explained all the features of the bikes. I know they are a long ways from Santa Monica but I refuse to give my money to such a poorly run business.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Frank and then I met the owner both very helpful and knowledgeable. I went back next morning and purchased an amazing e bike.
