Not knowing much about jewelry, rings, or diamonds and being in the market for an engagement ring is a precarious position to be in. I had passed by Broken English a few times in the past and thought I'd finally go inside to see what's what.The shop is smaller than I thought from the outside but really nicely formed with a lot of unique pieces. The two ladies behind the counter were incredibly friendly and understanding. They walked me through things and gave some great suggestions for the shape and style of the ring and they were supportive throughout the whole process. You get what you pay for and I couldn't be happier with the end result! Highly recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous jewelry! They have a really unique selection of carefully curated brands from all over the world! Simply breathtaking, unique gifts for yourself or others! Service was extremely friendly and welcoming. Worth checking out!

I absolutely adore this store. All the pieces are so unique. I’m usually more of a Cartier girl, but I love to mix in exciting and special pieces from independent designers. Georgia helped me, and she is so sweet and welcoming. I feel so lucky that I live by one of the Broken English boutiques! I’ve followed the brand on Instagram for a few years and was so excited to visit an in-person store when I discovered it was near me in LA!!

I have collected jewelry for years and have bought my most beloved pieces from two places: in Paris, at boutiques and auctions, and from Broken English. From its beginning, Broken English has sold some of the most unique and beautiful jewelry in LA and NY. Laura Freedman is a curator extraordinaire. She has an eye not only for the beautiful and the classical, but also seeks out artists throughout the world who present such original ideas and designs that I can spend hours looking, learning and buying. I encourage you to go in and do the same. She and her staff love what they do and it shows. Broken English is always my go-to happy place for a simple piece of jewelry or a special occasion. Simply put, I love this shop.

BE is a jewel of a space offering a fantastic selection of jewels along multiple price points. I often see the store and the designers they carry credited in fashion editorials, and the owner Laura and her staff have always been delightful when I venture in. Since moving to Nashville my visits are more spaced out, but I almost always swing by when I'm in LA, and as a native Angelino I always send visiting friends & family to the Brentwood Country Mart and Broken English!

I rarely if ever write reviews but this store inspired me to take the time to write one. I just felt inclined to express my deep gratitude and appreciation to the staff, their kindness and helpfulness, for the wonderful and pleasant experience I had choosing gifts for loved ones. It really is a wonderful store, the jewelry they carry is unique & top of the line and obviously picked by someone with amazing eye and taste. They referred me to check their website as well, which I did, amazing selection, I can not recommend it enough, considering the gorgeous jewelry they have to offer the prices are very reasonable, they really are. You have to visit the store, you will not leave empty handed, it's that good.

This is the best jewelry store in the world! Truly, the best staff the best customer service and the most gorgeous pieces. I always get a warm welcome when I come in and shop or even to just look around and admire the gorgeous jewels. The owners eye for vintage is also spectacular, I always see something I want to own and covet forever. There's something for everyone and every price point. I can't say enough amazing things about this store, if you're looking for gorgeous jewelry and a fun experience this is the place for you!

This is hands down the best jewelry store in Los Angeles. The staff is lovey and kind. I always find everything I'm looking for. I sent my husband in this Christmas to get a Sidney Garber bracelet and a Foundrae necklace. I couldn't have been happier. I came in to grab a few more charms for my necklace over the last few months and got to meet the owner. She spent an hour with me finding the pieces that I ended up getting. Im hooked. You have to go by by and check out the selection. Also, I was so impressed with their COVID awareness. They only let a few people in at a time and the staff made sure that they didn't go over capacity. I had to wait a few minutes before they let me in because there were already a few people in there. Worth the wait. Love Love Love Broken English.

If you are in Brentwood area you have to stop at this beautiful store. Broken English Jewelry They have to most unique jewelry. I found the most beautiful earrings for my best friends' birthday. The owner was there, she was so nice she helped me decide which earring will be the best option. I loved everything about the store the jewelry and the service, It is a must go place in LA.

RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!! Life is too short, and too many businesses are struggling to support an owner with an extremely arrogant and nasty attitude. I completely understand people are doing their best during covid times, which is even more reason to support a small business. They require appointments, so I made one for 2:30. I arrived at my specified time and opened the door. The owner rushes over and says, "we are at capacity. You'll have to wait outside" - I replied "I have an appointment. What is the point in making an appointment only to make people wait in the cold." She goes "well we don't need you to stay. Leave then" WOW. The attitude shocked me; let alone in a pandemic when many small businesses are struggling. She doesn't deserve ANYONE's business.
