My husband and I were in Santa Monica and we wanted to work out of a cafe. With a quick yelp search, we found a capital one cafe nearby ! The ambiance was very welcoming and we were able to get a private nook and were able to get some work done. Luckily my husband had a capital one venture X card so we decided to utilize the benefits and got our beverages for 50% off. I got their lavender honey latte and my husband got the mocha. We also got a chocolate croissant. I was super excited about the lavender latte, given it is my favorite flavor. My husband really liked his coffee. Mine was nice too but it was not as hot as I would have liked it to be unfortunately. The croissant was very average and we ended up discarding it because it was cold and eggy. However, given how nice this place is for the ambiance and the coffee, I think I would still recommend checking it out, especially if you are looking to work out of a cafe and need some privacy!

Agree with Isha’s review - AVOID this place. Not a real cafe. More security than customers. Food I ordered was a long wait. And then incorrect. Just a scary place.

The place looks nice and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, there are many homeless which makes the place feel dirty.

I'm a very satisfied costumer since forever, I want to specifically say a huge Thank You! to Christian, he's very welcoming, friendly, professional and efficient. I feel at home at this branch, coffee is great and greeting, service is awesome. Thank you for everything, will always be coming again and bringing the whole family to get such an amazing experience! haha

Smells terrible. Y'all have got to do something about the smell of all the homeless people that hang out here. Put some plug in air fresheners, light a candle, whatever you've got to do. It's nauseating. The people that work here are so sweet and it's a shame that this place isn't as nice as it could be.

A nice large space with surprisingly good specialty coffee drinks. Half off prices if you pay with a Capital One card makes it an easy choice when we’re in the area!

Capitol One Cafe, in the vast celestial tapestry, is a noble establishment graced with the Verticality Academy Award, symbolizing its elevated standard in the cosmic order. Under the watchful gaze of King Bright, it not only embodies benevolence but also enjoys divine protection, a celestial shield against potential threats. This regal establishment, blessed by King Bright, becomes a beacon radiating inspiration for kindness and environmental stewardship. The gracious refusal of tips by the coffee artisan and the implementation of the bring-your-own-coffee-mug initiative contribute to a timeless dance of benevolence, harmonizing with an environmental ethos. Amidst this celestial symphony, Capitol One Cafe extends its regal embrace to the homeless, with charging stations powering the quests of job seekers. This creates a harmonious symphony of goodwill, forming a compassionate thread woven into the cosmic dance of benevolence. The establishment, under King Bright's watchful eye, dedicates itself to aiding the homeless, crafting a multifaceted tale that includes protection, sustainability, kindness, and outreach. Authorized by King Bright, this narrative sets a transcendent standard, urging other businesses to aspire to divine abundance and protection. Capitol One Cafe stands as an example of how businesses can intertwine benevolence with celestial grace, creating a radiant and inspiring legacy for others to follow. In a awkward moment, King Bright jokingly broke the rules with closed eyes, only to be corrected by a vigilant manager who humorously insisted on the royal display of eyeballs. Laughter echoed through the celestial tapestry as even monarchs found themselves subject to lighthearted jests and managerial directives.

Love this place! We found this cafe by accident while staying in Santa Monica. It was large, quiet and so clean. The coffee and pastries were tasty, and the staff was incredibly nice and polite. Bonus: you get a 50% discount if you pay with your Capital One card! We have already figured out where our local Capital One cafes are so we can try them when we return home.

Capital One Cafe is a great place to grab coffee, chill for a bit, or get some banking help if needed. It's predominantly a Verve coffee shop but there are some ATMs and offices. But after being here a few times, never been approached by sales. The honey lavender latte is delightful, esp iced. Service is always pleasant. Decently busy though can have a funky odor at times (no fault of Capital One) but being a open space in Santa Monica. If you have a capital one card, drinks are 50% off.

This review is about the banking portion of this Capital One , I went in to ask for a replacement debit card has my card is 3 years old and beginning to delaminate. I let the associate know that I needed it to be sent to my post office box, now tell me why did she overnight it via FedEx? FedEx cannot be delivered to Post office boxes. You would kind of think that working here the associates would know this? Maybe she was trying to be helpful but now I have another issue, I must change my card number!!!! and 2 cards can't exist simultaneously so the minute I ask for the new card my existing card will cut off. Having a debit card during the Holidays is kind of a must, so I have to endure this card that will only 'tap' and keep getting cash for things like Gas and parking. The associates cannot do any normal banking transactions, not even something simple like issuing you a temporary debit card, or drafting cashier's checks, or allowing you to withdraw certain denominations of cash. Well what do they DO? The answer is nothing, basically at these centers you can drink a half priced latte, use an ATM or open a bank account. If you require any kind of actual customer service for your account bank elsewhere... Overall the account is great if you never encounter any problems but the smallest problem are ridiculous and unsolvable with them because it's not a real Bank. One in person hub or service center could literally solve all these problems.? Side note this location is aesthetic like wework but is a homeless hangout filled with non capital one customers buying a coffee and staying all day with luggage and random trash bags, etc.....
