We shop here at least twice a week and noticed TOO MANY DOGS!!!! These are not service dogs either. The managers are not monitoring this. He just turns his head and pretends they don't exist. He probably feels awkward to tell them to take them outside. I've seen him walk around and see the dogs but does not say anything. There should be someone at the entrance of the store to check if they are service animals or not. There are more DOGS and Employees standing around than customers at this Santa Monica location. It's very dangerous and a nuisance since the aisles are very narrow. How can we shop if they are in the way and we are tripping over them? General manager Mike please fix. I've even see dogs sniff some ready made foods. This is unsanitary and unlawful! There is a sign that says no pets. And yet there are about 10 dogs at any point of time. Why do we prioritize dogs over shopping customers?

Great prepared foods, Great atmosphere. Great products. Yes it's expensive and a bit busy but the quality of food is well worth it and the other patrons are generally congenial. I go to this store as frequently as possible. I highly recommend it.

Got some food delivered from here on Uber the other day and they forgot my $15 juice and my cream cheese and I did not get a refund due to them also forgetting stuff another time last week and Uber's refund policy being crap. SMH. If you're going to charge that much don't forget stuff????

Erewhon is a small market, deli of sorts and eatery. It is cute on the inside and looks clean on the inside. Looks are deceiving. They don't move their product around and I noticed items in the back with dust on them. The produce looks good, but under the fresh produce I notice there are things that should not be sold. The prices are outrageous. I know the food is organic and some of it not that easy to come by, but it is insane in my opinion. I can get the same quality at Whole Foods or even Gelsons for some items at a fair price. The deli type area is nice as is there food to take away or eat there, it just is not great. it is not worth the price at all. The service, sadly, is not good. I have been looked at in what I consider a creepy way, it is a vibe, it is not something I ever notice or have complained about. The staff can also be rude. I won't be back. I am done now.

When trying too hard to be a fancy hipster. This is the most pretentious store. I used to go here more often when they first opened. But the quality has dropped and it is now just a show. Most of the groceries are available in other stores with much lower price and the food is ehh.

5 stars for the hot bar and 1 star for the incredibly rude and dismissive parking attendants

I am a member and go there often but whenever I stand on the line to order foods the guys act like they are busy and totally ignoring me Totally rude and no customer service driven. The food has also changed for the worst.Simeone is not training this guys up the right way. Before I spend $34 in a meal I will see if the staff change their time in being nicer and less rude.

I loved the gorgeous storefront and exterior seating. The store is so cramped and whoever decided to put the cafe right in front of where people need to check out should be fired. The store is expensive, I get it. It seemed on par with Whole Foods but a tad more crazy in its offerings. I did enjoy the cafe and the indoor seating. If I still lived in the neighborhood I would probably be here multiple times a week to just have a tea and pastry and chill.

This is my first time at Erewhon and immediately walking in, it felt like a Lazy Acres but smaller and more crowded. I've heard the negative reviews about the price but wanted to check it out for myself. I ordered the famous Hailey Beiber Smoothie and cashier informed me it would be a 20 min wait which was fine. I waited 30 minutes for my drink, before checking in. They couldn't find my ticket. There was a Hailey Bieber Smoothie on the dock for 20 min, but it wasn't my name so we suspected someone else likely took my drink. For serving $17-$21 smoothies, they really should have an expeditor. The worker said just take the drink at the dock and waved me off.. and I said "uhh.. I just said it's been there for 20 minutes". Normally I wouldn't mind taking the smoothie but it was $18! They finally said they can remake it without an apology, and I thanked them. All the workers looked like they did not want to be there. The smoothie was totally overhyped as expected. It tasted like a Costco smoothie but not as sweet and had a weird aftertaste because of the stevia. I would not return, there's so many better smoothie spots in LA!

Only been here 3 times. All of which within the last 3 years.Twice in the later part of 2020. Those 2 times I just ordered a medium smoothie which were decent. Service was good at both times. The last visit was within the last few months. I ordered the exact same thing as the previous visits. It took roughly 30-45 minutes to get the smoothie while others who came in well after me (even up to 5 minutes before mine was ready) were getting their drinks. Even people who ordered before me were still waiting after I got my smoothie. This time it tasted so bland. They changed the medium to the small size and increased the price by roughly $4. For $16+ for a mediocre smoothie is not worth it. Not worth the price and time to go wait for a snack or meal. Also during the visit many of the other customers were rude by shoving their way through others (including myself). When confronted they look at you with a disgusted look and they just walk away without apologizing.

I enjoy this Erewhon location. Store is clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. It is a high end market with quality food; so be prepared to pay for quality. The only thing that bums me out is the valet parking. Sometimes I want to run in and get out quick because I’m on my lunch break. Can’t do that.

Love Erewhon!! I can't even go to another grocery store now. It's Farmers Markets and Erewhon for us! So many organic and plant based items, clean facility, and best smoothies and juices. Most of all, we LOVE their valet workers. They are all so kind especially Edwin. It's so easy to just pull up and run in. They make the experience so enjoyable and in crowded LA, this is everything! Thank you!!

Love the health focus of this store. They have alot of unique health options you can't find elsewhere however everything is marked up. For example the Ophora water is almost $14 yet at Bristol farms its only $12. So I'd say maybe only get unique items or smoothies here and all other basics elsewhere. I didn't enjoy the cooked food either. Got the salmon skewer which tasted weird and the chicken was extra fatty and alot of gristle

They sell everything delicious. Huge organic selection. Amazing quality that appears in the price. They have a delicious hot bar. Bacon, egg and cheese burrito is life changing my good. The breakfast bars are all organic and freshly made.

Expensive, feels overwhelming, isles are very narrow, lots of products overcrowdedThe smoothies are very pricey and does not justify the hype. the orders takes a long time to get prepared.Parking is a problem.
