Was a bit concerned looking at these reviews but popped in to make a quick exchange and the team was nothing but incredible! They quickly exchanged my item, steamed the new shirt I was picking up, and offered me bottled water while I waited. The store was clean and in good standing. Will definitely visit again when I have more time to actually shop!

Four stars for the merchandise. Three stars for the selection. Two stars for the prices. Two stars for salespeople's knowledge and helpfulness. One star for -- as other Yelp reviews have indicated -- for ignoring customer feedback.

During the past few months, I have purchased many of the James Perse T shirts that cost from $100 to $200 from different James Perse stores as well as their website and spent thousands for these T shirts. After few washes every single one of the are falling apart and have holes in them. I contacted their customer service and they refused to refund or replace the T shirts. My $10 T shirts last by far longer than the James Perse T shirts. I would think twice before spending arm and a leg for these T shirts.

Not one to leave a review, let alone a negative review, let alone for a clothing store; however, the service here was extraordinarily bad. Not entirely sure how someone working retail can act pretentious towards clientele with $5k+ spend. I would write more but don't want to waste the time.

Everyone I have dealt with here has been very sweet and helpful. Especially Reggie. He's the man.

Purchased two(2) t-shirts online after talking with Marisa multiple times regarding sizing, shipping, and their return policy and turn-time, so I could make an informed decision whether to shop with them. Was advised the return if necessary would be processed upon receipt. As of today two(2) weeks later have still not received a credit back to my credit card of merchandise that they've had for two weeks, and probably sold to someone else. Not only do they have the merc, but they have the revenue from merch that was sent back to them the same day it was received, from OC to LA, less than an hour away, not out of state. After calling them repeatedly over a two(2) week period, today 7/9/20 they state it takes them close to a month to process a return to a credit card, which they can't explain why, nor will they escalate or prioritize to assist the customer. First and last time shopping with James Perse.EPIC FAIL!!!!!

Only buy the linen pants if like them to have holes. Yes, they develop holes on the back pockets because they are sown with out backing. When I tried to return them after wearing them about a handful of times they had the gut to tell me it was my fault for using to much soap. Oh, yea my fault not theirs.

They have an all new staff here and it felt like all 3 staff members were waiting to help us!:) The girl fell in love with my dog and gave him treats!:) The men were very helpful and gift wrapped my purchases. I couldn't be happier with this location!:)

My wife loves this designer, and we are visiting the mainland soon so of course I came to Yelp to find a location near Santa Monica for her. Reading the reviews of the Brentwood store I found the crapping customer service entertaining, and not surprising - as it is LA. (Nothing compares to Tokyo anyway). But what I find absolutely astonishing is that ownership has not responded to these complaints. Not good business. Its clear that Perse really doesn't care about their clients shopping experience. The world is full of choices.
