The vehicles that I have had to rent due to car repairs through insurance are extraordinarily expensive and subpar. They charge outrageous fees, including taxes, and have consistently tried to make me pay more than the insurance company's daily allowance provides. With inflation in major cities, like LA, I suggest that you check with your insurance to get at least $40-$50+ daily maximums for rental car coverage. Even when I increased my daily allowance from $30 to $50, Enterprise still tried to charge me $55 daily for a tired, rundown vehicle. This wasn't just the Santa Monica location. The $55 ($50 daily max from insurance with Enterprise tacking on $5+ for fees/taxes...) happened in Culver City location too. While my experiences are just one data point, I find that the situation is endemic in the Enterprise culture. They consistently aim to get the customer to pay more than the insurance company allows.

Nicholas is amazing. He is so helpful and really great. Highly recommend him and Alex. Both have been so supportive in the car rental process. This location is super convenient and works with the Tesla Collision center which makes everything even better.

I came here Wednesday after work in hopes of swapping out a rental car that I rented from another location due to the fact that it had a very strong weed odor and ants. I came to this location because it is closer to where I live. The staff here showed 0 interest in wanting to assist me. The staff here needs training on customer service. No one greeted me when I walked in. I stood in the lobby for about 10 mins before I asked if someone could assist.

Fast, efficient, very straight forward. I used them couple of times. Yes they get busy, and cars may have stains and scratches. But it's us customers who mistreat rentals. I think most of negative reviews are from snobbish entitled people

First let me start off by saying the staff is great. The cars however are completely beat up and disgusting. My insurance covered me for a standard vehicle. I understand standard doesn't mean luxury however I didn't know standard meant a used and abused car. The car had several dings and scratches which I was told is normal wear and tear. The seats have stains. The car was given to me wet not even dried off from a car wash. Enterprise is a big corporation. Take some pride in the rental cars you guys are giving out because this is just ridiculous. Attaching pictures.

Easy to rent a car. The staffs are friendly. Also, the agent that assisted me named Daniel is very helpful and provide great customer service! Will come back again next time!

I was in a car accident, and after my mechanic checked my car and told me it was not drivable and unsafe anymore, I knew I had to get a rental until I figured things out. Unfortunately, I didn't have full coverage, so my insurance didn't pay for a rental car. I came to this Enterprise location after making a reservation on the Enterprise app.Their employees, Mousael, Jewel, and Derrin, treated me like a VIP customer. They gave excellent customer service and were SO pleasant and welcoming!

Very disappointing as I've used this location several times in the past. Yesterday was a travel day from hell for my son. Most Southwest flights were cancelled as well as many other airlines. So since my son lives in San Francisco he decided to drive home. He made an online reservation for a car at this location 1217 Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica for $100. While en route to this location, he got a call from someone at Enterprise that told him they only had luxury cars so his reservation was invalid since they didn't have any non luxury cars. We get to the location and they DO have other cars, not just luxury cars but said that car (which was the same type of car my son reserved online) was now $250. It's bad enough they gouged customers during a stressful time when flights are cancelled but to add insult to injury by lying about your cars so you can get a higher rate is just pathetic. You might've made more money off my son yesterday but you lost me as a customer and I travel OFTEN!

My insurance company, AAA arranged a car rental for me at this Enterprise location in Santa Monica when my car was in the repair shop. From beginning to end, they processed my rental quickly, efficiently, and with excellent customer service. The car that they provided me with was clean, and comfortable, and even provided me with an upgrade model at no cost. They picked me up and gave me a ride to enterprise to pick up the rental, and when I returned the rental car, they gave me a ride to the car shop. Easy, friendly service, and hassle free. 5 stars all the way *****!

Rude, entitled, poor customer service levels. Management thinks he owns the cars lol rude, standoffish, pretentious, just that snobby vibe. Rent from a different location, well worth it.

I've had my fair share of bad experiences with car rentals but this enterprise location was *fantastic*. I had some issues due to some errors made by a third party, but the entire Enterprise team assisting me at this location was so helpful and accommodating. They were low on stock the day I came in and I still left with a rental that I was so so happy with. I specifically want to shout out Alex, Sal, and Ricky for being so thoughtful and taking care of me during a stressful moment. Would highly recommend using this location, the pick up driver was great as well, everyone was working really quickly to help speed up the process, and they ended up taking care of a lot of minute details that would have otherwise given me a headache. Thanks to the team at Enterprise!!!

Went while my car was being worked on. So easy, quick, and kind people. Everyone working was constantly making sure everyone was seeing helped and ok.
