I like this Rite Aid and appreciate that it's not super crowded all the time. I noticed the other day that many of the shelves were empty for the first time though. Is it closing?

Store functions well as a drugstore with pharmacy. However, it has
many empty shelves, lacking a number of items that I would expect to find and have purchased there in the past.

I meet a few disgruntled people now and then (like everyone does) and most of them work at this Rite Aid. Of those disgruntled Rite Aid employees, a majority of them work in the pharmacy. Not everyone—sometimes I happen upon someone who isn’t sullen and rude, but often there is someone there who is. I live a short walking distance from this location but worth it to go elsewhere. I suspect they are not treated well by management and they take it out on the customer.

I called to transfer a prescription to this Rite Aid location after the one on Lincoln was scheduled to close. The pharmacist was extremely rude and unprofessional to the point that I informed them I would be taking my business elsewhere. I've never been spoken to so angrily on the phone, and I wouldn't personally want someone like that handling my medication. I called the location in Santa Monica on Wilshire, and the transfer was completed professionally and in less than two minutes.

The lady who was working today was very helpful and friendly. Way more so than you would mostly find at a rite-aid. I get why this store may have bad reviews because they are out of a lot of stuff.

The pharmacy team (technician and pharmacist) were super helpful today and got thru a line of 8-10 people in minutes! I’ve tried Walgreens on Lincoln.. and CVS on main st and they are always closed/too busy/out of stock. This pico Rite aid has been amazing in my first few visits! Glad to have found them. Thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Pico in Santa Monica, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff at this Rite Aid location goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Not only were they knowledgeable about their products, but they also took the time to address all my questions and concerns with patience and care. It's evident that they prioritize customer service, and it truly sets them apart. Moreover, the pharmacy team demonstrated efficiency and accuracy in filling my prescriptions. I appreciate how they prioritize safety and precision in their work, ensuring that I received the correct medications in a timely manner. The cleanliness and organization of the store were also impressive.

The manager in here watches her employees work and doesn't do anything. A whole line and she is just in the room not doing anything. She does this every time I'm here. Only one person on the register. And I've been waiting in line for 30 minutes to get a refund on ice cream. Margie is the only person working here! By herself!!

I really do not prefer to shop here, I only do so when I’m on my way to Trader Joe’s down the street and I pass it by. It always takes me forever to find what I’m looking for even though the aisles are labeled. There’s barely any staff there to help and it just really is a place I stop by out of convenience. At least it’s clean but it really doesn’t do it for me

Pharmacy workers are unkind. There is one man who is helpful and attentive, while the other female workers are rude, unresponsive, and impatient. I’ve been here many times and am always disappointed in the lack of human interaction.

I go here often but NEVER get a personal greeting or acknowledgement. And one rude evening cashier [not all] ALWAYS ASKS ME FOR ID [so annoying] even though she's seen me countless times and I am clearly over 21. I know she does it just to make me crazy because the others don't ask. Their Customer service is lacking! But the vitamin prices and 2 for 1 deals are great. Better than CVS.
