Pretty disappointed. Chose to come here instead of the typical thrift stores because I thought it would be budget friendly. Mugs and teacups are crazy expensive and everything is in sets.

It was a great experience to shop At Salvation Army in Santa Monica. I will recommend to everyone! And plan to shop there frequently. I've found some amazing stuff there and they were all fantastic deals.

Barely had any male clothing and tiny store with no parking. Not worth going out of your way for this

Could use more merchandise. They take in a lot as you can see in the back alley. Good prices. Good service. Very helpfull and friendly

I recently dropped off a few bags to donate here and it was an easy process. The employees are nice and helped me promptly. I haven't had a chance to shop here but will swing by again.

Torn, stained, missing buttons, broken zippers, moldy, holes, stinky, animal hair, etc, etc. Clothes. And they want full price for them. If you ask for a discount based on tears etc. You are scolded and told those are the prices, take it or leave it.The clerks are rude and angry. All sales final and no dressing rooms. Limited metred parking that is always takenNo backpacks, you're treated like a thief for having one. Told i could not enter store with a backpack. Never in years of shopping here, have I seen or been told this rule. Told to leave because I would not leave my backpack near the entrance unattended. I had my laptop and other valuables in my backpack. While the cashier is telling me to leave there is a white man shopping with a backpack on. That was very frustrating, that I a minority could not enter salvation army with a backpack but the white man could. Double standard and hypocritical ignorant policies.Out of the way and not worth the trip there.Stay away way better options elsewhere.

Favorite thrift store in area! Great mix of items, have found some great vintage pieces and even some luxury-ish pieces (seen Theory, Reformation, and similar brands somewhat often), the color organization makes it easier to stumble upon interesting clothes and the universal pricing method (all denim is 10$, all tanks are 3$ etc) means you can really get some great deals, especially with the color tags. Staff is always very kind too.

Bought a bag that was Gucci and realized it was a fake and they wouldn’t let me return it or get my money back even although it is ILLEGAL to sell fake designer thingsEven if they don’t check it’s okay but if it’s found out to be fake then they should let you return it or get a refundThe manager gave me attitude as well and I have anxiety.

Best thrift store in Santa Monica! They have a thrift store on one side and an awesome boutique store next door. Really great stuff and very clean and organized. The manager David helped me out with my purchase and was very friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up as well as 5 stars!

I usually love this store but their new manager, Bridget, is one of the nastiest people I’ve ever met. She berates her employees in front of customers, too. It’s so sad to such a great spot be ruined by one person.

Love shopping in the regular store, beside the Boutique. Items well organized. Nice selection. Pleasant staff. Great prices. Polite customers, who give each other space. I always leave with great finds and a positive feeling.

Has great clothes to pick from but the national policies are terrible. There's no use of the fitting rooms and no returns or exchanges so you can't see if anything fits or looks good and if it doesn't you can't return it.

Team Salvation Army forever! Sooo many good finds on this last trip to this lovely establishment. Goodwill wishes they had this selection, this organization, and this customer service! Their prices are totally fair and I feel way better about where my money is going than when I shop at hoodwill and pay 24.99 for a jacket that's not even designer
