We are long time Sleep Number (Select Comfort) owners. But we moved and have been sleeping on another mattress. Went into the Santa Monica store and Cip took care of me. The new 360 seems fabulous and we can't wait to sleep in it. My wife can warm herself and I can cool. Should be great. Cip was great in handling the details. Only regret is we can't get it sooner.

We walked in the store to just get some info and walked out with the “works”. Our salesman Joshua was incredibly well informed about the products we were interested in. Sleep number, Joshua is a keeper. Can’t say enough about the experience. Penny

This couldn’t have been a better experience. Joshua was so accommodating for my partner and I, and made us feel right at home in the store. He was incredibly helpful with helping us find a mattress that fit all of our priorities and helped us understand the subtle differences between mattresses. He also gave us space to talk things over by ourselves, which is something you don’t always get when buying furniture. I truly could not recommend this experience more. Thanks Joshua!

I was so excited to get my new Sleep Number Mattress! After just 1 hour laying on it my lungs started hurting. Taking a deep breath became painful, then I got a headache and my eyes were burning. I noticed the mattress was emitting an odor similar to paint. I contacted customer support who kept forwarding me to a supervisor who would then just disconnect my call. Then I started googling to find that there were lawsuits against this company. Also that evidently their mattresses emit toxic gas fumes called “off gassing”. I have never heard of this term before and evidently that’s what their mattresses do. They emit toxic fumes. They agreed to refund all of my money and take away the toxic mattress that was making me sick. It turns out they use Polyurethane Foam, the cheapest most toxic material you can use to manufacture a mattress.
I just bought a Maxim Mattress with organic Latex and there is literally no toxic odor no fumes whatsoever.

excellent in-store experience -- even got to test drive the 'Maserati'. Joshua's customer service was warm, friendly & most important knowledgable. I left happy with my new pillowFit & can't wait to get some incredible sleep. It was everything I've come to expect with Sleep Number.

The service is so bad I will never be back to any Sleep Number store. Ever. I am looking for a bed and I will be buying one tomorrow, but not from Sleep Number.
First, there was a sign on the door that said back in 5 minutes. Below that was a number if I wanted an "immediate" response. I did not call right away because I am not rude, I mean maybe the person is in the bathroom, I don't know. It said 5 minutes in large print. I have to be able to trust that. 12 minutes later I finally called and the employee said, "I'll be right there, I am just across the street." 5 minutes later another call and he said, "I will be right there." He did finally show up.
We got in and he asked how he could help. I told him what I wanted to see and was clear that there was nothing else I wanted to see. He said he would be right there. He then got on the phone with a friend, clearly a personal call--he is loud. He stayed on that call a few minutes leaving me to wait some more. I was there on 9/1/24 at 7 pm. I don't mention horrible employees by name.
He then comes up to me and asks my name. I tell him. He then calls me Miss Elizabeth. Now I can't stand that. He has no idea what my pronouns are, but I always let that go because I think it is just a bad habit. But no, he then asks my helper that was with me, I am clearly disabled, what his name is. He is a special needs person and hates to speak. He says his name and nothing else, now that should have given the salesperson a hint. It did not, he wanted to talk to the male, that was clear. I said, "He does not like to talk." That should have done it, but no, he says, "He just told me his name, he talks" and tried to talk to him and my poor helper did not respond and was clearly uncomfortable.
I tried to let that go, but at this point I knew he was rude and just had to be right. I asked is this the bed. He said we make them all and anyone will be what you want. He was directing his speech to my helper. I was just so done. How unfeeling, sexist and rude.
The place is very small with not a great selection. There are very few seats. It is somewhat clean, but someone get a vacuum out. I sat on the bed and it was clear it was made poorly, it is all air, that is what they say are great about their beds. If the electricity goes out, and mine has 3 times this week with the heat, your bed just will be an uncomfortable mess. And the employee told my helper to lay on the bed, not me the customer. I said no, and he said well you lay here. I mean what is his problem.
Their prices are so high for what they are selling. I have now looked at ever bed on the market and know what I am going to get. Again, it won't be a sleep number. I just don't do rude and obnoxious and get off your phone. When you say 5 minutes, have it be 5 minutes or say what it is, people will wait, but you start off badly when you lie and don't even say sorry for the wait. And your beds are not great.
Terrible experience and as I said I have now seen, as in been to, all the bed stores and to make a helper so uncomfortable is disguising and he assumed he was my husband and said so. Now how do you know that and why do you think that. My helper and I went home because he was upset and did later say to me, "Why did he try to make me talk when you said no talk?" I told him not to worry, that it was his rudeness and assumptions and sexism, not yours.
And their warranty is weak and there are so many better beds out there and for less.

After discovering the reason I slept Soooo Well at a friends guest house I visited my sleep number store in Santa Monica Ca.and experienced the most ultimate sales experience ever !!!!. Manager Scip welcomed me into the world of sleep number products with a no pressure attitude and listened to my experience to narrow down the proper mattress to meet my needs and space. He did insist on actually laying on each mattress so no disappointment would arise.His professionalism and knowledge is beyond words !!!. He provided me with a quote to take home and review and my response was when can it be delivered !!!. Everything showed up on time with flawless delivery service and technicians that insured everything was perfect and all the technology was understood and left with the old mattress. Everything is setup and operating perfectly and I’ve been experiencing incredible sleep since than !!!!!

My husband and I bought a sleep number bed, sheets and pillows. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and we love the adjustable frame so we can raise the head of the bed. The sheets are super soft. The sales team, Cipriano and Joshua, are very patient and knowledgeable. They are warm and friendly, and go out of their way to be helpful.

Josh is the best, he went out of his way every time I visited the store and helped me eventually find a pillow that worked for me over many (painless) returns. They have a lot of different pillows to try and their 100 night return policy is unbeatable, definitely worth a visit to the store if you're looking for a pillow.

While I’m waiting on the delivery of my bed, what I can say is that Josh is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable! Honestly, he’s the reason why I brought the bed, I felt cared for and understood. I would recommend him many many many times off! And he’s from my hometown! Small world! Thank you Josh! I will be sure to let you when I get the bed!
