I posted photos of a chair that I bought...The filling deflated and it was replaced with the cheapest filling that once again is deflated...I was told that he would fix it ( I doubt he has the expertise or once again will fill it with garbage) but I needed to take my review off Yelp before ..Not going to happen and infect I will post this biz on google ..I am unable to use this piece of garbage ..I went back and said " No dice' fix it ..I heard nada ..This place is a serious hazard ...As you can see by my present photos its a non starter .Stay away from this biz ...

Thanks for responding Vic, just wish you wouldn't ignore my calls. It would be nice if you lived up to the mistakes your company makes. As David knows, I have a very tall son which is why I needed something custom. The whole depth of the sofa was the size the cushion was supposed to be not the entire sofa! I'm sure you have satisfied customers who come in and choose something on the floor and just change the fabric, but horrible for a custom made sofa! Really??? Had you left me a message or responded I wouldn't be communicating via Yelp. It's all good. Please just have this sofa picked up and refund me or make the sofa I ordered. I will really appreciate it. I know your customer satisfaction is important as you preach.

Just bought a sofa from here and absolutely love it. My mother and sister have both bought sofa's from here as well and have all had great experiences. Wonderful customer service and the delivery was made super easy. Highly recommend!

We are so happy with the sectional sofa we purchased from Sofa U Love in Santa Monica! David was very knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating during the process; he really went out of his way to provide excellent service, even after delivery when we had an issue and requested a change (just a personal preference thing; nothing wrong with the delivery or quality of the product). Will definitely return and refer our friends!

Update: I received a disturbing call after my review from the owner telling me he has been ready to ship for 2 months and they have been waiting on me, even though I have weeks of text messages showing I have been asking when it will ship for weeks. When I told him that was incorrect and can I send him the text to confirm he said no and proceeded to tell me he will ship it today but will not confirm the shipment to me with a tracking number or shipping number so that I can feel confident it sent. I then received a call from the factory asking me what fabric it was, leaving me to believe it hasn't even been made. Absolutely zero customer care Previous post: What started out to be an amazing experience,has turned into a nightmare. 6 months ago I placed an order for 2 slip covers and was told they would arrive in 8-10 weeks, but most likely sooner as I needed them by the Holidays. The 10 weeks came and went and we were promised they would be shipped out within the week. That week came and went and we were promised again and nothing and then again and nothing. Finally we got a message that they were ready to ship and they would call on the shipping day to take final payment and offered to cover the shipping costs for the delay, which I appreciated. I asked for a photo of the finished covers as they were shipping across country and they have a zero return policy (which should have been a red flag I listened to) they sent photos of them all inside out and couldn't tell if it was all there , as one pile was larger than the other, but trusted that maybe it was the angle. I asked to please send the tracking number prior to payment so I can track that it actually left the day they said (at this point not much they said would happen did and I didn't feel safe paying for something I wasn't sure would even ship at this point. Needless to say, they have yet to send the tracking number and when I call and check the status they still say he promises to ship tomorrow (this has been told to me multiple times with zero follow through) I finally asked for a refund, as this is outrageous and the answer was no sorry we don't give refunds. So they have taken half my money, won't send my item and won't send me a refund. My next step is to report them to the BBB and consumer trading and seek additional options for getting my money back. I am so disappointed, as I really loved working with David initially and truly felt they were doing all they could and did everything in my power to be patient, but now 6 months later Here we are. I do not recommend this business.

My experience: sofa made to custom dimensions was delivered in the wrong size, seat height 2 inches too high, and fabric had a stain. After many weeks of rescheduling to have sofa picked up and made to the correct size, out of frustration I removed the 2 inch block feet and called it a day. They did reimburse $200 for the cost of the feet. A few months ago the sofa springs started squeaking! I have a $3800 sofa that creaks when you sit on it. 2 stars for beautiful fabric, I do love the fabric but regret this purchase.

No problem Vic, I shot over my credit card transaction receipt that has all you need. You are suddenly singing a very different tune than you were on our emails/calls back and forth at the time. I look forward to receiving the full refund you just publicly promised. But, we both know you have no intention of sending one. At least I screenshotted your false promise! UPDATE: Just like I thought, Vic is now going back on his word--hope everyone sees exactly how this l**** does business. My post states exactly why I waited so long--I didn't want you to know where I lived anymore--and all your information below is a lie. Thankfully, I have the email thread, and so people will knowing what a lying scumbag you are, I will post a screenshot of the exact email that I sent to you (nowhere does it hint at buyer's remorse over the colors). Absolute trash showing your colors once again! For everyone else, you can see from the email thread that we had no confidence he would be able to "fix" the garbage chairs he delivered us. Such little confidence that we rushed to pick up another chair we had dropped off with him to have reupholstered!

Thank you David and Sofa u Love!! I have the absolute BEST SOFA I have ever owned. The quality and craftsmanship is TOP NOTCH - I could not be happier. The only thing better than my amazing sofa was the first-class service I received from David when I visited the store a couple of times as well as over the phone and texts. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, super friendly and provides a first-class experience for all of his customers. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Both Sofa u Love and David deserve it.

I have made several purchases from them -- awesome quality, very fair prices. David is amazing -- super helpful, excellent follow ups. My latest order arrived perfect and on time. Their furniture lasts forever. I just ordered a new slipcover to update the look for an ottoman I purchased years ago. Highly recommend.

Sofa U Love has been my couch store since 2003! I love that I can still go back to them to order new slipcovers etc. Their customer services goes above and beyond and David in the Santa Monica store is fantastic!

Highly recommend getting your couch from sofa u love on Montana! David was so helpful and custom made our couch (locally in Hollywood) and had it delivered just in time for our wedding! Great experience and so happy to have stumbled upon this gem in the neighborhood!

Not only does this shop have the cutest couches and chairs and everything you need for home but on top of that, everyone who works there is AMAZING. Especially David! I had an issue with my sofa and he went above and beyond to resolve it. And along the way he kept me updated twice a week on my new slip covers. I always felt taken care of and in good hands with David! If I could give 6 stars I would.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience working with David here. We were frantically looking for a sofa after we had ordered one that didn't fit into our apartment and David not only customized one that would fit, but he was also able to get it delivered in record time (going months without a sofa in a new apartment is not ideal). Highly recommend them. Go check them out if you're in the market for a new sofa!
