Today 12/3/23 witnessed a young women's car breakdown and watched the owner and sales associate give her a hard time while this poor soul was down on her luck and waiting for AAA to show up. The owner complained she was in the way of his business even though this business had zero customers at this place. How horrible of a person are you to give someone down on their luck a hard time. Shame on you!

Hello, on Wednesday I finish the bike route from Vancouver to San Diego (Pacific Coast) and I fly from Los Angeles to Spain with my bicycle. I wonder if you will have a box for me to pick it up between Thursday, October 12 and Monday, October 16 October, to be able to take the bike to my country (Spain), that's how I did it to come and they were able to save me a box in a bike store to take it to the United States, can you please tell me if you have a box? Please do not throw it away and I will pick it up, the approximate measurements are 135cmx75cmx25cm, it would be a great help for me, thank you very much.

The customer service experience I had here was misogynistic, condescending, and disappointing. My skills as a bicycle rider, intellect and my body were called into question when I asked for assistance with a bike I purchased there. Tho my buying experience (some time ago) was decent, I do not recommend buying or servicing your bike here. There are better spaces /people that welcome you and WANT to assist you in having an optimal cycling/biking life.

This is a real riders shop. I have been a customer for over 11 years. If you spend a lot of time on your bike and expect serious attention to how it is repaired I would not take my bike anywhere else in the city. Maybe this is not the place not for the Sunday riding/demanding types that frequent the neighborhood. This is clear based on the petty reviews.Tire wore out ? Really? 400 dollar bike? If you want your ego stroked go to Helens.Sugen is one of the most respected master mechanics there is for the serious riders in town and much appreciated. I was sent to him by pros.If you expect top notch work and no BS this is the only place to go.

I give this very solid local bike shop a 5 outa 5 for the customer service, great mechanic, stock on the shelf and the cordial and knowledgable owner who is there everyday.I've never had issues with maintenance they've done which has been timely, have never been on the other side of a "hard sell" and have always leaned something when I had a question.I use a few bike shops around SoCal depending on the need, road, mtn, gravel. This shop is right up there with the high rated ones.

Took my bike for some new shifters and tape install they do good work hands down. They have hard to find parts in stock and they know what they're talking about and know what they are doing

This shop has a really skilled bicycle mechanic, but he has really POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE skills.Since he is the closest bike shop to where I live, I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars there, on the many bikes that I have owned over the last decade.Today, I entered the completely empty shop and asked if he could adjust my brakes. He would look up at me and ask if I could bring it in another time, because he wanted to read his emails.I must have looked annoyed when I told him that I would just leave with my bike, if he was too busy. Possibly sensing this would probably be the last time that that he would see me as a customer, he stated, "well just wait 15 minutes and when I finish reading my emails I can do it".When done, I questioned why he only adjusted the handbrake adjustment on the handlebar (which was almost completely adjusted out already) and not closer to the brake. I was surprised that his brake adjustment was so suboptimal and I am at a loss why he seems apathetic to pleasing customers lately.I have NEVER asked to borrow tools or have him do ANYTHING on my bikes for free. I have ALWAYS paid him in full, whatever he bills me, even for the most minor adjustments or requests. He was my "Go To" bike mechanic for many years because of his bike knowledge and skills, I even love his beautiful dogs but I am hesitant to bring my bikes back there because of his poor attitude.[It is possible that this decline in trying to please a customer is related to post pandemic craziness, however.]

Great selection and quick service turnaround are A-OK in my book! Great collection of cycling memorabilia also!

poor service, arrogant owner. Bought my bike here & brought it in for a six month tune up. Bike was returned to me with the gears making way noise than before and bike covered in chain grease that hadn’t been bothered to wipe off
