I remember when this store opened. I used to come here all the time for groceries but I don't come here anymore mostly because I realized I always leave upset over how an employee treated me. Not even to return amazon purchases

i ordered chantilly cake for my husband birthday on 3/12 to pick up on 3/13 on 2201 wilshire blvd, hoping that the cake will be fresh but it wasn't and actually it didn't taste like the chantilly cake that I usually pick up from Malibu whole food. it is important to be honest and tell customer that they can't make one. I called them to talk with JC who took my order, he didn't come to the phone. I wanted to let him know that customers are not stupid. he has no right to sell old cake for the fresh one. in Malibu whole food, when I order, I always get fresh one. That is the way it should be. that is why we took time to order. we pay a lot of money for food, we have a right to choose. of course that was the last time I ordered something from this store.

Feels like an online experience, only I'm in person, not something I enjoy. This is compared to prior Amazon acquisition experience. It's a weird juxt., former niche/designer store and atmosphere that had some customer experience focus, i.e. custom pizzas and sandwiches with organic brands to the same physical location with a focus on bargains. The Santa Monica CA store was a little closer to the original, but in Seattle I am thankful for choices like Metropolitan Market and Town & Country. Safeway 70% of the time, but sometimes I want good, not so generic stuff. A good loaf of bread at Safeway is a joke as an example. How can a company invest soooo much into on premise bakeries and still commit to pumping out styrofoam??? What a waste of potential.

Loads of choice, hot food and deli counter has loads of different cuisines and choices. One of the bigger wholefoods I've been to in LA/Santa Monica

Tuna and Chicken sandwich are some of the best items to break your hunger - try it and give both a 5 stars.

Way to expensive. Up charging everything. It's crazy. I'd rather shop at another store like trader joes.

Amazon returns Dropbox. Very convenient, albeit tricky to use the first time.

Good food products and variety. A little expensive sometimes. I did not like the unconstitutional push on their completely useless and dangerous masks during covid though.

Customer service needs improvement. Quality is good. Customer service has always been worse than other locations.
