Super rude cashier. I asked a simple question about whether they sell the 1 gallon glass jars they have all around the store and she answered no as if it was a ridiculous question and I was wasting her time. No alternatives provided.

I lived in this neighborhood for many years and used to love coming into this WS store. However after the experience I had today I will never return. Every employee I spoke to including the store manager was incredibly rude to me. I had placed an order for in store pick up, and it was cancelled without me knowing it. The store team blamed me for the issue, offered no apologies, and no assistance placing another order for the same item online. As I was leaving, one employee actually started laughing at me. I called corporate Williams Sonoma and explained the situation and they were so horrified by how I was spoken to that they reported it to the regional manager. They also helped me place the order for the items I needed and waived shipping for me. Stick to shopping online.

Picked up some online order here due to limitation merchandise in other locations.Service was below average. The ratio of employees was greater than customers at the time of visit.The (2) ladies at the counter too busy to listen to my question. One of them brushed me off. It was disappointing because one of the ladies was not able to answer my question regarding where a particular product was located. This store is very small.

I’ve shopped here several times & always received wonderful service. Most recently I ordered some furniture online & the delivery was a little messed up. We couldn’t figure out a solution so I came to this store. The store personel & managers could have said it wasn’t their sale or business & left it at that. They went out of their way & our furniture was not only delivered the very NEXT DAY ?? it was put together perfectly. Can’t thank them enough. Wonderful service. Thank you Williams Sonoma Santa Monica ❤️

I live right around the corner from this location. I love stopping by. However, a certain female employee working there is not friendly and is rather rude. I try to avoid her register but sometimes it’s inevitable. I am surprised she hasn’t quit or been fired. She seems miserable and has no skills in customer service.

The store manager shocked me with how rude she was. When asked her for her name she literally said to me “I am not required share my name”. And that’s the store manager! Her bad attitude has no place in such a nice store. I agree with so many people who have already posted in saying that I will never buy from this store again.

Says closed at 8pm, it’s only 7:10pm. Either Google made a mistake or this store did. Either way it’s pretty baffled with this misleading information.

Made a exchange here. Saleswoman said three words the entire time. No greeting, no questions while I explained what I needed. Silence. When she took out the new product, I asked to examine it before she wrapped it up. I got my precious three words. Then I left. What a weird place. Guess I'll miss this reality when the false cheeriness of AI takes over customer service. No blame to the woman but Williams-Sonoma, you must be a godawful boss.

The sales people who work in this store are generally rude and unfriendly. I would rather drive 20 miles to Manhattan Beach store to shop where they know how to treat customers!

Two sets of plates from our registry delivered broken in June of '22. We returned them to this store in person to process replacements. After months of calls back and forth with WS customer service, they discovered that this store never marked in their system that the broken plates had been received, and never sent them back to the WS warehouse, both of which were stopping the replacements from being processed. As the WS customer service folks said the plates were shipping on a few occasions, but they never arrived (six months and several phone calls later), we went back into this store for assistance. Staff was an absolute brick wall and told us there was nothing they could/were willing to do.

If you want the most discriminated and inadequate customer service this is your store. Let me explain I made a purchase at your William Sonoma in Pasadena customer service was phenomenal, Patty and Vince do a wonderful job. Fell in love with a product not enough in store, so they went looking at other stores and they suggested Santa Monica and The Grove store to complete a set. Patty at the Pasadena store suggested she could call the other stores to see if they had them in stock so they could put them on hold. She did as so and I had a home run when it came to the William Sonoma located at The Grove which was 30 mins away and when I got there I picked up three more pieces but it still didn't complete my set, so I called the Santa Monica store and see if they had the remaining pieces to complete my set. I spoke with a lady regarding this set and she said yes we have them in stock I had asked if she could put these three pieces on hold and that would be marvelous cause then I could complete a set of 8 so I left her my name and told her I would be coming the next day. The next day before I left I called about the three pieces I put on hold prior, I spoke with Kelly and she said that there was nothing on hold, she wouldn't even let me explain and I asked to speak to a manager and she stated there was no manager in site. So I had suggested if I could give her the skew number on the items I had on hold and she straight out told me that she didn't even need it because they had none, and how is that when she didn't even get the name of the item. Now if this is the customer service your looking for Santa Monica is your store.

I have had the most wonderful experiences at this WS store. A special acknowledgement of Jila and Dana. I have always been greeted and my selections put in a basket at the counter so I don't have to carry them around while I continue to browse. I am a Black customer and have never been followed or treated rudely. The help I've received in store has always led to me purchasing more. Now, I actually call ahead to see if Jila or Dana are in. I should note there are some other employees have been just as helpful carrying my purchases to my car; I'm sorry I didn't get their names (Black male, young, thin white male).
