One of the very few hardware stores left in the Heritage Valley. Most of the employees are nice and try to be as helpful as they can be. Prices are higher on most things than big box stores unless you catch a sale. However, they do have quite a bit of specific bits and bobs required for most home repairs - such as bolts, gaskets, latches, etc. The garden area is good for it's size. A nice variety of flowers. Vegetable plants are more limited but I do appreciate there are more varieties rather than just the standard Bonnie veg offerings. Overall, a good go-to for local purchases. There's just something missing in the service sometimes that could really make the difference in me not minding the higher price which leads me to preferring to drive the extra 15 mins to the big box store unless I'm in a time crunch.

I just moved to the area recently and have started using your store due to the amazing staff. But one employee Kim truly shined and went way and beyond with the best customer service. It is truly a pleasure doing business there and i will return.

Went in looking for some parts. It appears the whole back section is being redone, so things are gone, missing, moved, etc. Three people working on it, not a single one offered to explain what's going on or ask if help was needed.
1:30pm on a Tuesday seems like a terrible time to be doing this.
What a waste of time.

Love this place but please fix your hours, I showed up on a Sunday at 730pm and the store was closed. Online hours says Ace is open until 8pm

the last 3-4 time I have visited this store the cashier that I've gotten has no customer service skills or nor her other cashier colleagues.
this time when I ask for my receipt, she gave me an awkward look, how it came across was rude when she printed and handed it over to me.
I was with my 8 yr. old daughter that had to witness this service.
FYI make sure to keep track with your rewards I caught it several times.
On this occasion Kimberly the cashier asks for my phone number for the rewards she and her cashier friends input the wrong number because on my mobile app under purchase history I can't find my recent purchases.
yes, I am aware I can call so they could add these rewards which I have done twice in the past.
