Big waste of time. Setup an appointment 2 and a half weeks in advance. Parts never showed up. It would be nice to RECEIVE a phone call SAYING that the parts never showed up. Instead we were notified when we arrived. Remind you, they could have called the day before AND in the morning of the appointment instead of driving down and wasting time. Apologies don't count. Brain cells do. Those could of have been used to order the parts in advance instead of the day before, and for notifying us that the parts did not show up and a "courtesy" call in the morning instead of showing up and being notified the parts never showed. Too many excuses with Jay. He should of have did the leg work the 2 previous days, he had 2 and a half weeks to make sure the parts were there and be prepared. Suggestions for your team of "professionals". 1. Make sure the parts are there in advance, if not, start calling your other suppliers the day before, not the same day of the appointment. 2. Keep your customers in the loop, a courtesy call the day before would of have been great. Or even in the morning of the appointment. People do schedule time for these repairs, my time should be important as well. 3. Keep your appointments. Apologies don't matter if nothing is accomplished. Wish there was a zero star rating.

Have used AAMCO with all my major repairs from a rear diff. to a transmission. Always been affordable and transparent. Ownership did change but new owner is very personable. Only notable change is there is a 3.5% credit card charge. Not the end of the world just an fyi.
Would still use them for unwanted future major services. As I said, very affordable.
Multiple Transmissions
1-Transfer case
1-Rear differential

Took my 4 runner to Aamco after another company performed a cheap fluid change which left the transmission running rough. J and his crew at Aamco kept me informed and educated about the entire process. They do work by the book and follow all manufacture specs. They set the expectation properly that their work might not fix the problem but after a couple weeks of driving, the transmission is back to running perfectly! Thanks J and Aamco for the outstanding service! Will highly recommend them to anyone needing transmission services :)

Quick appointment. Friendly employer and good service. While the Jeep was being worked on, Coddington Town Center is in walking distance.

I called Fairfield amco and spoke with Tom, told him my issues with the service 4WD light that’s on on my dodge. He told me that he can do a diagnostic and it will run 125.00
2 days later I had my son drop of the truck at the shop so they can diagnose it. Around noon he calls back and tells me that there’s communication codes and that he could not work on it and recommended it to the dealer. So I asked what he did, just pulled codes with the scan tool and that was it. Never did a diagnostic just pulled codes. I was charged 125.00 just for pulling codes and no diagnostic done. Seems like I just got ripped off. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone. Even his technician that pulled the codes was surprised that he took the job when he doesn’t do that type of work, diagnostic.

The owner was kind, honest, and transparent with the estimated cost of my car’s future repair. He didn’t charge me for the findings on my SUV’s repair and that rarely, any repair shop would do such. Not to mention, I didn’t even have any appointment but he gave me an option to come back the same day after my initial visit to take a look at my car. Grateful for the owner’s generous act of kindness in figuring out what needs to be done on my car. Many thanks, Mr. Singh!

Took my truck in to get diagnosed what was going on with the transmission. I let Jay know that it was rebuilt by another AAMCO and I had the paperwork for it. I told him upfront I believed the warranty would no longer cover any repairs as I had purchased the truck. He proceeded to say every aamco is individually owned and that he would be speaking to the original shop that did the rebuild. Told me to take the truck back another day for a pressure test that would not cost me anything. I had my cousin miss work to drop off my truck, all for him to give me a call and let me know that the warranty is no longer valid which I had already explained to him. Complete waste of time.
