My appointment was for 10:30am and I waited 1 hour to go in and wait in another room. If there is not enough staff they should not make so many appointments a day ???? just for a rabies vaccine

Ai yai yai...unless you have time and money to waste, I suggest you not bother. The word AFFORDABLE is so far from the truth. I was told to come in for a pre -exam so that I could get my kitten neutered the next day. After waiting 40 minutes to see the vet and then 20 more minutes after our exam had ended, I was informed they had no appointments available for a month and a half. The estimate I was handed was a range of $880 to $1,200 for a perfectly healthy 6-month-old kitten to get neutered. Blew my mind. Plus they told me over the phone they had two on site veterinarians now but when I asked about it they said there was only one. Weird and confusing. Avoid avoid avoid. The one star is for the very nice staff.

It’s very ironic that the name of this establishment is “affordable” .. I brought my 11 year old Shih Tzu here knowing he has a urinary tract infection needing antibiotics, trying to avoid the costly emergency visit to pet care, (which I would usually use but couldn’t get an appointment during Covid) immediately walking in was a pungent face-punching smell of ammonia, like every animal that has ever visited left excrements of urine in the lobby. My appointment was at 12 o’clock and we were seen at 2:45 (which I understand things happen, however, given our experience, it’s bothersome) instead of taking their own urine sample because their machine was down?! They had me go outside with a petri dish to catch urine from my male Shih Tzu, mind you I had to be a ninja while collecting this sample and also being charged their lab fee for ME doing their work.. when it was only visual analysis of saying yes, he does in fact has a urinary tract infection.. which again I already knew. By the end of the appointment I was charged over $700 without definitive answers or any genuine lab test results when I knew all I needed was antibiotics for my pup. Dissatisfied is an understatement, if you want to spend money in the cheapest place possible- I would suggest to come here. Although I would rather be robbed a pet care and get a genuine lab test experience to make sure that my animals actually OK. Lastly, throw your shoes away after you leave this place because you’ll probably track something back home that will surely make your other beloved animals sick.

The staff at Affordable Animal Clinic are amazing. They truly care about animals. They went above and beyond to take care of our cat after she had eaten a needle and thread. They are very affordable without sacrificing the quality of service they provide or their professionalism. I highly recommend this place for your pets medical needs.

If you love your pets, please don't bring them here to be cared for. You will end up paying up to 70% more for services and your pets medical condition will be mis-diagnosed because these vets don't read their own x rays and ultrasounds so they have no idea what they're looking at or for. They're super nice on the phone, but only because they're making up for their poor veterinarian services and inflated pricing. Go to Redwood Vet Clinic on Santa Rosa Ave.

Went in there expecting to pay 200 something none of what they did to my dog was ran by me first and ended up charging me 700 hundred dollars. No estimate, nothing reversible so i had no choice but to pay 500 more. I’m so so so freaking angry and annoyed and definitely never ever going back.

I love them and they treat me and my fur babies like family. The vet is the only one who had faith that my puppy could outgrow a condition I thank them for all their help and efforts

Paradoxical name. Reeks of ripoff, upsell and scamboozel...Go in all panicked, " we need to test blood" yeah, sure. "Here's 3 outrageously priced medicine, but come back for fourth tomorrow ". I called around and found it 70 dollars less at Costco"..$863.00 please, and bring him back for $1500 dollar teeth cleaning." As if. Affordable, thy name is misleading. In fact, it's a rip off of the worst kind.

Not affordable 800$ for a neuter is not affordable that is like 200$ more than most vets mate. Think about renaming to jus vet service

Double charged and nothing done to help with a simple skin allergy on my dog. Had better luck with my own research and finding the medication at PetSmart for a fraction of the cost. Not affordable and definitely not worth going there. Just greedy and not very knowledgeable.

This place has no respect for people time.I booked an appointment at 1 p.m., and at 2 p.m., they let me see the vet. Now the place was empty, no other people... they took their time. Made me feel they are just not doing anything. Finally, after an hour that was late, the vet finally examined my dog and said, "Let's do tests." That took another hour. That will cost over $800 affordable?I opt-out of the stuff that looks that are unessecery as the vet said optional. And paid the $500 still kind insane for blood tests... 24 hours go by, they didn't call I call and they say, "When we have results, we will let you know." Now affordable, it's not, and speed is really not a thing here, so think twice. Just go to a vet that has excellent reviews they all cost insane amounts.Oh yeah, and they close an hour before it says they are closed. I called at 5 pm and went to voice-mail 4 times sent to voicemail. My pitbull is still very sick with no help!!

They never answer phone calls. And when they booked a time and date, they just ignored me there for 45 min. I was going to get here on my lunch break. I asked them why is there a time if you the time you say it isn't? I only have 1 hour, and they said it doesn't work. That way, it can take time sorry I can't take a day off for a vet visit lose $250 dollars of my work day and pay for th vet another few hundred I thought it's a place for people who struggle to treat there pets but it's not don't waste your time
