We needed a truck to quickly move items from a storage unit. Staff was very matter of fact, efficient, and helpful. They recommended a van when trucks weren't available, price was good. Everything proceeded well with no hitches - full tank, quick walk around, and efficient and timely return. One thing is Google Maps has the entry on the wrong street. Enter from Santa Rosa Avenue. The shop was spartan, downright dirty restroom but functional. They do not allow after hours drop off returns and no key drop. The neighborhood is industrial and didn't appear to be the safest. Overall, a good experience, with excellent service.

I rented from a very helpful location in LA. They gave me a great deal and talked me into the physical damage waiver so there was no walk through needed. The vehicle was great and I had no incidents or accidents. When I returned it to Santa Rosa the agent told me there was a crack on one mirror and that I couldn’t leave until we contacted LA for the walk through papers. I told him I had the waiver and was feee to go. He got his manager and they both said I couldn’t go until they contacted LA for the inspection. They were both rude and unprofessional. I was with my wife who was picking me up so we both left and I called the LA branch. LA said we were fully covered, there was no inspection at the time of rental and that the Santa Rosa branch was not supposed to do this. He said we did the right by leaving quickly. I’ve contacted budget customer service to report this branch.

Rented online, drove from Cloverdale no truck. Then there is no overnight parking, so even if they have the truck I rented what would I do with my car? Thanks for waiting my time.

Had a very good experience here. I thought check in was going to be a huge drag, but it was very quick and easy. The rep that worked with me was efficient and got me on my way in less than 10 minutes. The truck was barebones but it ran perfectly and had radio and A/C, and was comfortable. After a hard day of moving, I just wanted to pass off the truck and get going. The rep was again efficient and in the end I was charged what I expected and it was very affordable. I give this place 5 stars for being a no nonsense, easy to use and affordable rental place.

Absolutely terrible service. I reserved my truck and trailer on March 12th for pick-up on the 22nd, I got a phone call on the 21st telling me they weren't able to get a trailer in time but that they would keep trying. I have been living out of a hotel for five days and wasting my vacation time as I waited for them to figure this out, they never did. Finally today I called their corporate line and spoke to someone who told me I could drive two hours out of my way to go get the trailer but I'd still have to pay the same price Budget should have had one of their employees drive the trailer to my location, I shouldn't have to go out of my way if I'm paying you a ton of money. Needless to say I cancelled my reservation with them and went with U-Haul. I'm paying more but if I had done this four days ago it would have cost me about the same price as budget has but saved me a couple of days.

GREAT! Customer service. The two gentleman behind the desk that I have worked with in the past are always polite and helpful. They also provide some of the best rates in town. I truly appreciate the business.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! I used to work in customer service for an ethical company, so I try to give companies the benefit of the doubt. Budget corporate, however, seems not to understand that 100% of their paychecks come from customers. Like others, I made a reservation online. I got a confirmation number. I called the local Budget office to confirm and was given an 800 number to call. It was their National Inventory office. The people at the local office said that they'd try to reach them as well. Fast forward 4 days later. Twice, I've listened to "All agents are assisting other customers..." for over an hour each time! I left voicemail. No response. I went back to the local store and they apologized. They again said to keep trying and they'd keep trying. I'm currently on hold again. It's been 30 minutes. I give up. [I'm glad that I found Yelp so that I know that I need to cancel online to avoid a $50 cancelation fee.]

Rented a moving truck online. Got my confirmation number, went to Budget on Santa Rosa Ave. and the manager laughed at me. He looked at my confirmation number and told me that number meant nothing! Friends don't let friends rent from Budget EVER. Their system and or employees are either liars or incompetent. I had dealt with this same manager about a year earlier and he treated me like DIRT.

Best truck rental experience I have ever had. Made the online reservation for the truck this morning, and picked it up an hour later. The clerk was very friendly, thorough, and got me on the road quickly. When I returned the truck this afternoon I mentioned that though I had only used the truck for 11 miles it took 5 gallons to top off the tank. The clerk, same guy as this morning, verified the miles driven, then told me "the previous renter must have not topped off the tank completely", and gave me a discount on the rental price as well as the miles to compensate for the cost of the gas. I couldn't be happier with the service and quality of the truck. The next time I have to rent a truck I will definitely be going back to this Budget.

We reserved a truck online for the next morning and when we got there, they said they had no available trucks and the online Budget website is not connected to their store and that's why they had no trucks avilable. Total bs, get it together

I highly recommend going to U-Haul or somewhere else. This place lies about the odometer reading so they can charge you more.
