We own a travel trailer with a gas oven/cooktop that tended to burn the bottom of everything we baked in the oven. Someone in the RV forums mentioned putting a pizza stone in the bottom of it to solve this problem, so we looked up pizza stones and came across this company. We ordered a custom sized stone from them to fit the measurements of our trailers oven. We're very happy with both the service and the stone. We'd definitely order from them again. And, it absolutely solved the issue with burning things in our trailer's oven, so if anyone out there's looking these stones up for that, it works! Get one.

Best pizza stone I ever owned.Churning out exceptional pizzas. Follow the directions. The vendor was responsive and kind enough to answer all of my questions prior to purchase.Shipping takes awhile, but that's why patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait!Read the directions, follow them, understand what you're buying before you purchase. Most of these reviews are people who had expectations juxtaposed to the items being sold with very clear descriptions.

The best pizza stones on the market. I have them in my pellet grill and now got for the regular electric oven. Makes the whole pizza and bread baking experience completely different. Thanks!!!

I ordered my stone on Thursday and got it on Saturday. The packing of the stone was spot-on, as it had 'blown-in' foam to keep it from breaking/chipping. I used the stone that same day and it worked flawlessly. There were bad odors (which is why I went for Calif. Pizza Stones stone), as I have heard about others' stones. I bought a round stone; 21" by 3/4" thick. No doubt, later I will buy an industrial 24" square stone, 1" thick. I guess I just cannot get enough of a good thing! :) Thanks CPS.

I haven’t had much experience with this company. Thier delivery company is the worst I have ever dealt with. R + L. And I own 12 hotels. But the disappointing part of the whole transaction was this companies callous attitude once they got my 2000$. Not a care that I didn’t recieve the equipment promised. Very disappointing. I would be very weary doing buisness with this company at least until they’ve figured out logistics and customer service. Because I was left wanting with nothing but less money.

Excellent quality pizza stone! I looked far and wide for a stone that would be 16 x 16 and finally found one here. They also cut the stones to custom sizes! The 1" thickness makes for even better heat retention and distrubition and the pizza, most importantly, is absolutely fantastic!! I'd even argue that it comes out better than most pizzerias (I live in Brooklyn) since the crust achieved crispy perfection and you have control over what quality ingredients you put on top of it.To go along with it, I purchased an American Metalcraft pizza peel (3016).

THIS. IS. NOT. A. RESTAURANT.Ownership is too incompetent to change Google listing, like it's too big of a challenge to claim ownership over your company's listing and correct it.I've suggested they fix it, in person, several times. I'm only given a look of absurd confusion, like OMG, it's not rocket science.Either start making pizza to order, or fix your s#¡$. It's only a matter of time before California make sketchy advertisements like this illegal... But false advertisement already is federally illegal, and this comes close.

I bought a 15" x 15" x 1" pizza stone from California Pizza Stones on Amazon. I spend a lot of time looking around for the right stone, and I'm really glad I went with these guys. Their info team was incredibly helpful and replied to my e-mails very fast. If you're in the market for a new pizza stone, you won't be disappointed with one of these. I was wary at first because of the price and I had not used ceramic before, but it was exactly what I ordered and worth every cent. No foul odors like some of those cordierite stones. I purchased the one inch thick stone, which I absolutely love. It's on the heavier side, and I'm careful not to scratch the surfaces on the oven grates. I would absolutely come back to California Pizza Stones if I ever need a new stone, and I highly recommend them to anyone who loves baking pizzas at home.

I have a small pizza oven in my backyard that is like a pellet stove. I have never been able to get the pizza cooked and crispy on the bottom. I ordered the 1 inch thick stone from California Pizza Stone from Amazon. I now have the same pizza the trendy pizza shops have. I think because the stone is thick it holds the heat and other stones are so thin they cool off and will not give you the brown crust you want in a pizza. I wish I had this years ago!

got a 12" pizza stone and am very pleased with the thickness...hopefully will hold up well. shipped on time and packaged well. looks handmade (which i like!) and no chemical smell (like a cheaper one i purchased and returned). this will be used in my new RV oven to disperse the heat evenly.

I ordered a large stone for my restaurant and it arrived ahead of schedule and packaged very well. I could not be happier with the service I received. ðŸ»

Well I have a small pizza oven in my backyard. I have tried to get great pizza out of my unit. My friend told me it was the pizza stone was too thin and it lost heat so the bottom did not cook as fast as the top. Anyway I ordered a pizza stone from California Pizza Stones in Santa Rosa from Amazon. Well I have been using it all the time and with over 50 pizzas made everyone wants to come over and have one. The trick is to get the pizza oven stone over 400, I get mine up to 500 but that's how you get a crispy bottom. I wish I had this years ago!
