I would never go to this salon while out for dinner hours after this buisness closed they sit and watch the security cameras to patrol people at the restaurant next door don't park in their spots, they will tow your car with in minutes from parking. Shows what a nasty spiteful person they are and would never give that type of buisness my money. If you're worried about your parking spot you should put a fence around it.

Worst hair salon in Santa Rosa- greedy owner… no one cares if you are unhappy after a bad service- run in the opposite direction! There are so many great salons with kind people in Santa Rosa… do not patron this place, you will regret it.

Hayley is the sweetest! I went in for highlights and expresses my concern with damaging my hair. She totally kept the integrity &health of my hair and gave me the blonde I wanted thank you!!

This is quite possibly the worst experience of my life. The staff here are horrible, it's obvious they cannot stand working for the owner, Rhondi, who clearly runs a North Korean style labor camp. Kim Jon Rhondi anyone? I'm surprised there isn't a few torture devices laying around the place just to keep her employees in line. The service I received here was abysmal, not to mention the substandard hair cut: my husband told me I looked like Bjork with severe alopecia when I got home. I'm positive the person cutting my hair was either drunk or under the influence of drugs (possibly meth?). The archaic service and banal conversation are so terrible you'd be advised to set your watch back 20 years when you walk in through the main door. The person cutting my hair was so thin she probably only has a dump once every four years, which also conveniently reminds me that I need to vote during the next election. If this business was the last place on earth to get another haircut then I'd rather cut my own head off. During my time in the salon I overheard (what I assume to be) the owner openly flaunting the fact that she enjoys getting cars towed from her parking lot: not the kind of person I want to give my business to. In fact, Yelp is littered with reviews highlighting the multitude of people who have had their cars towed from this business. This all begs the question, how is this business still going? I can only assume it's a front for something more sinister.

I would not give my money to Calypso Salon! They are ruthless when it comes to being apart of our community! This company loves to have cars towed at a very expensive rate! Do not give them your money!!!

Called last minute for a hair cut for my little sister and Calypso was the only salon in our area who took us for a walk in/last minute appointment. All of the staff was so friendly and kind from first call, setting up the appointment to greeting us upon arrival at the salon. My sister had her hair cut by Sonia who was not only the kindest and funniest woman ever but also a very talented stylist. She took her time and gave my sister the exact cut and style what she wanted. My sister and I both left very happy, thank you to Sonia and Calypso team for being so welcoming and accommodating. 10/10.

We parked on labor day after hours 930pm, in a spot that wasn't even marked and they towed our car. We had to pay $600 for the one hour parking after hours and one of many spots that you couldn't even read no towing. Who calls a tow truck company at 930pm on a holiday to get a car towed?! I own a business and if you park in our spots I do not care if it's after hours. As long as you're gone by the time employees and customers arrive it's fine. I wouldn't want anyone to have to pay SO much money of something SO petty and shallow.

Thank you Hayley for always making me feel my best ❤️ I’ve been going to her for a little over a year now. She takes her time to go in depth about everything she is doing and always makes sure I’m comfortable and happy along every step of the way. Amazing conversation I even forget I’m getting my hair done! In all honesty I don’t think I’d ever trust anybody else with my hair, I can’t recommend her enough. I have a very hard time styling my hair but even out of her busy schedule she ended up teaching me how to use hair rollers, ended up taking pictures during the process, sent them to me so I wouldn’t forget how to place them. This place should not be allowed to partner with a towing company to charge outrageous rates for parking in their lot for an hour. They have a huge parking lot while the restaurant has a small one. It was just about 7pm, I ate for about an hour. Yet, to get my car out I had to pay $390. Bear flag stating the cost for the tow is $300, seems extremely HIGH and inflation for a tow less than 3 miles that probably took 20 minutes to do! I understand paying for violating but to penalize people and charge an obscene amount seems illegal. A normal tow is about $100 with daily rates of $65-$75...absolutely ridiculous
