I wish I could write a review about anything and not be limited to only the places that appear on Google Maps because I could write some really cool reviews about things like my nephew's birthday party in the park. All sorts of review-worthy events occurred during that one! Or the time I was watching my favorite commercial, and I laughed so hard that I started sneezing and couldn't stop for like 3 minutes. It was super intense. Instead, I'm writing a review about this Exchange Bank branch in Santa Rosa. They have a solid 3.3 stars that they average from 12 online reviewers. Some people just complain about something so that they feel heard, like the folks that left one star. What's up with that. I guess giving one star provides some relief and comfort for them. And if that's all it takes, then have at it friends. I support you. But remember that the fine folks at this bank branch need a little support as well. And what better way to provide that than to give a good review and at least four stars for their effort and professionalism, as well as their interest rates and their loan packages, including mortgages and bond certificates. Plus, they are located on the main square where everything is possible and nothing is out of the question, especially a safe-deposit box.

I have been banking with Exchange Bank since the 1980s. I am planning to close all my accounts and move to a different bank. This is because their customer service, when I need to go into a branch, is so abysmal. I go to 3 different branches and it's the same at each one. Every single time I've had to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get waited. Every single time there tellers are setting at their windows, people at desks all around me and maybe one or two tellers open. No one will open a window and provide service no matter how long the line is or how long they can see people waiting. I've spoken to the branch mangers and they say "oh we don't do the scheduling". That is no excuse for such terrible service.

I switched from Redwood Credit Union several years ago. Stupidest thing I ever did. They charge ATM fees to and from everywhere. My wire transfers take days instead of hours. They hang onto your money from Friday a.m. until Monday. Redwood Credit Union transfers 2 to 3 times a day into your account with a wire transfer. Exchange Bank keeps your money and says they can't see it when you have a transaction right in front of you. The ATMs break down all the time. I cannot imagine working there. The employees are pleasant and it's not their fault. The place is run horribly from upper management to upper management... Ha ha.

I go to the Downtown location and they all new and new people that get hired get to know me and I get excellent customer service which doesn't happen much today

I'm stuck in a hospital, so in my absence, someone broke into my home, found my wallet and split!But that's not the only b***** exchange bank for 30 years now has waaaaaay understaffed its call center. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is allll that matters!I called earlier today...one helluva wait...as my card is out there hitting up all those places that DO NOT REQUIRE YOUR PASSWORD/4-Digit super-secret code, only your cat knows (It's your damn birthday, X 5,660,666 other Maroons!)so I call, helluva wait (2 hours) so I hit 1 and enter my phone number for a callback!5 GODDAM HOURS LATER...NO CALL BACK, I call again, in a dream I'll get someone, now I am number 25!GET MORE PEOPLE OR START LOSING CUSTOMERS, Christ onna Crutch, This is ABSURD!

Find some one else! Hight rates way higher than I could have gotten at many other banks/companies (my credit is 800+) Exchange Bank, screwed up my payments. It took months to straighten out with Exchange Bank because I paid off the loan in advance of regular pmts. They even reported to my credit as being late!@#$%^&. Once paid off at Exchange Bank lost my title and somehow messed up my DMV account this took trips to the DMV by me to fix. Its been four months and countless hours of frustration, phone calls, and trips to the DMV and I'm still waiting on a refund for my over payment AND clear title to my car. Find some one else!

They don't return phone calls. Was a customer for business and personal for over 10 years. When I needed help, they wouldn't even return a call or email. Never again will I bank here.

I have been with this bank for 25 years and until they changed their computer system a couple of years ago I was very pleased. Since that change we have had several issues. The most recent being a deposit through their online app. With Covid on us I thought it was smart to deposit checks via the app. Today I checked to make certain that the deposits I made a few weeks ago had gone through. I'm glad I decided to look because they were never recorded even though their worthless app said they were made. Very sad and totally unacceptable. If a bank loses my deposits it also loses my trust.
