The story is so ridiculous I need to ask you, the reader - does this sound like I was given BS? Here's the story: I need a battery ordered for my iPhone. I told Allison, working at Best Buy's geek squad in Santa Rosa today that I would be happy to pay fully for the battery upfront, at the time of order. Allison insisted that wasn't good enough, that she had to be able to keep my phone for 2 to 3 days while she waited for my battery to arrive! What?! She added it is Best Buy's policy. Or she said, I can go to an Apple Store. Yes, we all know we can go to Apple stores Alison. But that's not the point, is it? It just so happens this store is closest. What terrible customer service Geek Squad/Best Buy. I can't even pay for my new battery upfront so I can keep my phone? Such inflexibility for a customer service, to expect people to leave their cell phones with them - for their convenience! Obviously, you think we are here for you not the other way around. I will remember that.

Alyson helped me today! She was awesome, so helpful, professional and got my computer check in and sorted out to go out for repairs in less then 30 min. I was so happy I was able to have her help. She was kind, friendly and very supportive. My toddler spilled tea on my Macbook and I am hoping Geek Squad team can help repair in soon. Thank you for the great help Alyson, Geek Squad is lucky to have you!

I have 3 Blink cameras and purchased a Blink camera to add. I was given an 7-7 appt window. The day before they left a msg that the window was 7:30-11:30. The tech shows up 10ish, tells me that because I live in an apartment complex that looks out at a neighbor's place that they cannot install the doorbell, they can program it and I'll need someone else to install it. (at over $100?), so he's going to program it. NOPE, he cannot do that as I have the Galaxy Store and not the Play Store to sync it to my phone. I said, The Geek Squad should give this information so that they don't wait for an installation and programming that will never happen. I called to give them this feedback. I got a man with a heavy foreign accent who had trouble acknowledging my concerns, put me on hold, I was transferred to another agent to start over, I was put on hold and transferred to another agent. At no time was I told that I was being transferred and I never accomplished my task. I had a man install my cameras, who was excellent, about 2 years ago. I call, it's useless, their so-called system of providing customer service is EXTREMELY BAD. On a 1-10, 10 the best, overall it is a 1.

Geek squad has always been knowledgeable and veery helpful! They provide you with the right resources and tell you how to get parts or some phone number incase someone locked out of their account. We love them!

Very disappointed I lost 10+ years of my kids fun little video after they fixed my computer ! I don’t know if I can yell or cry ! These videos we always go back to it to have a laugh! Other things that I lost can be replace but not these videos! I wanted you guys to restore the previous version on Mac so that the computer can work faster ! You guys were fast to sell me the $200 package but not listen carefully to what I needed! If you did listen you will probably understand that may have misunderstood the process of taking it back to bigsur from Monterey version on IMAC ! ??? if I did understand clearly, 3 days of backing up the hard drive is nothing ! ??? and I hope the alert timing is wrong because if it is right than there is something wrong with you all! You guys can email me so I can explain what I mean ! I hope I came here and read all the reviews I would have take it to apple center instead ! To delete the hard drive anyone can do it ! I can do it too but the whole idea was to bring it back to the previous version and still working !!! ?

USELESS. I have tried 4 times to get tech support to fix an issue. You can never talk to the tech person...who is in India. They do a generic "tune up" ....I have wasted 10 hours with them.......WHAT am I paying for ????? oh...and their hold music makes you want to jump off the nearest bridge

They will sell you a Dell Inspiron with full warranty coverage, and then tell you the laptop can not be repaired because the shop does not have the parts. FOR A BRAND NEW COMPUTER. Why are they selling computers that can't be fixed with warranty's that says they can if you give them all your money up front? And they only offer store credit. So if you buy a computer with a warranty and they can't fix it, you're stuck buying another one from the same people. NOT worth it. BIGGEST mistake to buy a computer here. Do not believe what the warranty or coverage tells you, this company and this location does not live up to their word and they will not fix or return your computer they will give you store credit back. BUYER BEWARE

Wanna here how this business is trash? Let me tell you! You buy a $600 watch. It stops working for absolutely no reason. You purchase all the warranties you return to the store a month later to drop off or return. You are there talking to someone for 15 minutes on the process in which you have to schedule an appointment in order to drop off the watch. The only appointment they have is 3 days later. The appointment takes 5 minutes. So in the 15 minutes it took the guy to explain the process and to set up an appointment to DROP OFF A WATCH he could've just taken my watch and sent it off. D****

I purchased a new computer and added geek squad service for a year. Just 3 mo into using the computer, the camera stopped working. Waited on hold for 1 hr to get help and finally someone not from the USA answered. She went into the computer remotely and said it needed to be restarted. Then she hung up. Although she had our phone number, no one called back for next steps. Waited another 45 min on hold. That person set up an appt for 2 wks from yesterday, $125 a year to wait nearly 3 hrs on hold and another few wks to get zoom camera working for work is not acceptable.
