6 years ago, we purchased a large couch from Macys Coddingtown. We also purchased the 5 year warranty. We were told that in the event that we do not use that warranty in the first five years, we could receive our $200.00 BACK. (We needed to "Apply" for the money back. #Macys has done everything in their power NOT to refund that money. Wonderful furniture, HORRIBLE scam on the warranty. Use caution when purchasing from Macys.

Reeses was very disappointing. There wasn't a lot of choices in clothing that didn't look like old lady clothing. I did buy a bra, but the line was quite long. They are short staffed and only one place that I could pay for my purchase. I stopped using your credit card, because they increased their interest rates to an outrageous amount.

I've always had great success shopping for what I need at the Coddingtown store. Staff go out of their way to assist me and they are extra courteous! I have been a Macy's customer for over 60 years and am proud to recommend them.

Macy's has always been a local go to for fashion finds-however today---not so much. I went in to get shoes and make-up essentials. I literally went in search of associate but it was a ghost town. No a person to be found. I felt like I was in the twilight zone with elevator music playing in the back ground. Make up was a no go-so -I went to shoe department to try my hand at purchasing shoes. I found one associate on his phone leaning against the check out counter. That was enough for me to leave. Service: No service.

When you look at where Macys was 30 years ago...when it was an upscaleDepartment store, with a class act at every turn...then you walk into the Macys at Coddingtown...well i could cry. What a sad state this store hasbecome! Filthy. The floors are worn out and disgusting. Beat up walls.I went into the men's dept. Jan. 10th to purchase a sport jacket as a gift.It made me sick. The men's dept. literally looked like a storm had hit it.Clothes strewn everywhere, unfolded, coming off hangers...what in the hellhas happened to one of greatest shopping experiences ever?If this store were in Marin they would have never let it get to this place. But hey, it's Santa Rosa, the "ugly sister" in the North Bay...

The only reason I even bother to go to this Macy's is because it's closer. Most of the time I receive very unprofessional return services here. Save your time and go to the Downtown Macy's. More inventory and the workers are actually decent. Thanks for all the attitude and wasting my time!

No wonder people don't shop at these places. No one is in the departments. You walk around looking for someone to ask or to check out. So frustrating.

Not to happy with Macys in coddingtown Santa Rosa CA I went use the dressing room in macys (1) Unisex!!!! Not very happy about this!!! While I was in the dressing room a lady trying on Bras. she forgot to lock the door!! Apparently she did not realize it was unisex! She was livid!!! I'm not happy either. I talked to the manager and he said the reason for the unisex is due to "special interests"!!! And that they were short staffed! Which is it?? However Jacob did tell me there were 2 changing rooms upstairs...guess they can staff those dressing rooms. Seems Jacob lied to me. They are only short staffed downstairs not upstairs!!! I'm not about unisex for anything!! I know I'm the majority!!! Those 1% percent can go have all the unisex sh-t they want!!! I would have a problem big time if this was one of my granddaughters trying on clothes in this dressing room!!! All kinds of creeps Pedophiles etc. this stupid crap needs to stop NOW! I will be shopping elsewhere until this BS corrected!!

We recently purchased a nice leather recliner chair at Coddingtown Macy's for an old standby. I am a big man, 6 feet tall and well over 350 pounds in weight and very wide around the waist derrière. Its hard to find chairs that support my hefty weight. This recliner does both for fit and support, which I'm grateful for in the first place. It feels comfortable to sit in, as I recline at home. Chair is good looking, with many colors to choose from. Its purported to be easy to clean, just wipe it off. The one we picked was a fine leather finish in blue to match the looks of my wood grain flooring, blue carpets and the whole interior design of my apartment. My sister was on the look-out in shopping, in a rush so the speak as we were going out of town to a vacation in Aptos to visit another sister's family for my 60th Birthday. She came here at Coddingtown Macy's early in her furniture hunt for an old time, long time Santa Rosa family specialty favorite, at least among former teen women. There were a lot of choices on the 2nd Floor. Gregg has even worked Seasonally now and again at this work site!

I tried to order an e-gift card today. Apparently there is a verification process which they don't tell you about until they take your money and then cancel your gift card. So, I tried this twice because I was confused as to why they would cancel my gift card purchase the first time. The did they same thing the 2nd time too. So I contacted the number at the bottom of the email, gave them all of my information for the 2nd order, mostly because it was the one in front of me at the time, and was verified. Instead of issuing me one of the 2 $200 gift cards I had already purchased, they wanted me to purchase a 3rd gift card for another $200 while my other $400 was being refunded in "7 banking days" Ridiculous! No thank you Macy's Ill go to Nordstrom! Conversation below I have tried to make 2 gift card purchases with 2 different cards, 1 debit and 1 credit and both were cancelled. The money was taken though. I know it says I will receive a refund but I'm already out $400.00 from this and don't want to be out $600.00. I really need to order this gift card 12:47 PM Macy's Hi! I'm so sorry your order was cancelled! Can you provide us with your full name, the shipping address, either the phone number or email address associated with the order, and the order number, please? Thank you! sb Thank you for providing the requested information! A reversal of the authorization hold was processed by Macy's at the time of this cancellation. Keep in mind that the timing of the actual authorization hold removal varies, and is dependent upon your issuing bank. Have you called the phone number on the order regarding the cancellation of the order? sb You sent I did...and I got verified...and was told that I could place another order today. However, I've already paid $400 for 2 gift cards that were cancelled and the money won't be returned to me for "7 banking days" according to the person at that number. I can't afford to pay $600 today for a $200 gift card. So that resolution is super un-helpful Macy's You can also try calling in to our Customer Service department at 1-800-289-6229 during business hours, and have them conference your bank, to see if the bank will remove the authorization hold(s). Thank you. sb You sent Ridiculous. I don't know why I cant just be issued one of my 2 $200 gift cards that i already paid for. I'll just wait for my money back and get her a Nordstrom gift card instead. Never again Macy's I'm so sorry, but the amount of time it takes for the authorization hold to fall off of your account varies bank to bank. We've already processed the reversal on our end. As previously stated, we'd be more than happy to conference your bank to see if they can remove the hold, but you need to call during business hours, as most banks close around 5 or 6 pm. sb Write to Macy's

I do not recommend this store one bit at all they are a mess I called to verify if they had a specific shoe and size in stock after verifying , then I sent my wife from Petaluma to Coddingtown to pick these shoes up for me because I was busy and they told her they were out of stock and pretty much discontinued no one has them..... fast forward one hour later .. I called and I talk to the same guy she talk to and he said oh it looks like we have one pair in that size in stock let me verify and check it out two minutes pass and he's like OK I have them in my hand I will put them on hold for you the fact that we have to drive back in forth is annoying to top it off they made her feel like she was lying to them about calling before arriving ...... but wait it gets better as I'm waiting in line to pay for them a young lady comes and takes half of that line over to her side only help out one person and then disappear and not Come back lol we all just waited there like dummy's. Until I walked across to womens shoes where I was able to get rung up on the 3rd try because the 1st 2x the computers where broken .... I will stick to Santa Rosa plaza macys for now one , disappointed on wasting time and gas

They don't stock the basic all-cotton Club Room t-shirts I wanted but they do have these in abundance -- which exactly no one is buying. Who is running the men's department at Coddingtown Macy's? SNL's Roxbury Guys? The Joker?

I have beens shopping at Macys for years. I have noticed that the quality of the clothing, mostly store brands like Style and Co, has gone down significantly. In addition, they have closed down many of their check out counters. Last time I waited 20 minutes to pay. Not worth it.
