Ron was great! I needed my AC recharged. He gave me a date and time and was done within an hour. He told me up front what it would cost and there were no surprises.

Very rude and is not honest. Be up front if you say it's a free estimate and then show up and you say it is not and nothing is free in life...I'm pretty sure free estimate implied that.

***, Owner of North Bay Auto Radiator gets ZERO star rating from me! Please BEWARE and take my horrible experience, waste of my vital ************* and save yourself any possible pain. This guy barked at me, I have 40 yrs experience! And, did nothing more than try to sell me a $10 bottle of Stop Leak for $20. What was ludicrous was the fact that the bottle was nearly empty. He told me he was unable to weld my aluminum radiator. Instead, slapped some epoxy on it, which anyone could have done with some epoxy from a hardware store. Not bad for 40 YEARS EXPERIENCEworst part is that I paid him $200 for absolutely nothing, but a complete waste of my time and money. TRUTH is this dishonorable human being should not be in business. Not only does my radiator leak worse than before I brought it to him, but I will now need to buy a new one. That $200 I paid *** really could have helped me now. I wish he would have been capable of being honest and given me sound, professional advice, as have the three other radiator guys I have recently taken my radiator to

The owner of this business Ron Roma is an extremely rude individual. I had my radiator replaced for $567 and had to wait and lose out on work for an extra day longer than what he said. He removed my AC belt from my vehicle in the summer time because it was squealing and never even told me about it. I asked him why he didn't tell me he did that after I discovered on my own and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. My brand new radiator has lost all of the coolant since he replaced it. I don't know what he did to my vehicle but he did a horrible job and I would never recommend this so called mechanic to anyone. He does not deserve even a one star rating. He was also rude when I initially called to get quotes on the price because I had called several businesses and he has 2 business under the same number. Santa Rosa radiator is also listed under the same number. Shame on this man.

First of all this guy has 2 business listed under the same number, so when I asked for a quote he was rude when he told me that he already gave me a quote. My vehicle was not ready when he said it would be, which costed me another day at work. He removed my AC belt which had nothing to do with the repair he was doing, and felt that he just didn’t need to mention that to me. When I asked him about why he took off the belt and didn’t feel the need to mention it to me, he got incredibly rude and defensive. I do not recommend this business to anyone, I would gladly pay a higher service fee and go to a professional who knows how to treat customers.

Called up for some advice and to set up and appointment and within 3 minutes had to listen to some old timer tell me all the things I did incorrectly and all the things I should have done, let me know I failed to do proper research went on like this for a moment . Look bud I called for help not to be ridiculed for error.. I called for help and to set up an appointment. But honestly I'm glad I didn't after dealing with that man for like 4 minuets total if that. Go somewhere else. Is my advice.

After 11 days (to fix a radiator hose leak) I was called and told it’s done and the amount due. Next day I show up and suddenly the bill is more than $200 higher. Half an hour later I’m on the phone with the owner stating I’m only paying the quoted amount and he starts insulting me, “you’re a bad customer” and “how do you sleep at night”. He adjusts the bill, I pay, and leave. 10 minutes later I realize the leak is still there and there’s no way I’m going back. I had to rent another vehicle after I was stranded on the road. Thanks Ron. Now the car is at a dealer being correctly fixed.

SAVE YOURSELF! This guy is done. Missed promises 2 times, overcharged, and in the end didn't even fix what was suppose to be fixed. Cost me time money and pain. He needs to retire and give the business to the Spanish guys he pushed around.

I recommend this shop very highly for air conditioning repair. Ron (the owner) is really knowledgable about auto air-conditioning systems. After doing some research, I found out that it was better to repair and recharge my old R-12 system with the original stuff because of its superior cooling and ability to work better in these older systems. Ron totally agreed with this and is only one of two shops in this area (as far as I know) that has the ability to test, repair and recharge these older R-12 systems. He saved me a lot of money by my not having to change-over to the newer R-134 stuff.
