My cleaners recently misplaced my Patrick James hanger. The hanger came with the custom tailored suit I purchased several years ago. I reached out immediately and asked if I could purchase another dress hanger and cover all related fees, as I am not in California. I was summarily denied but reassured that if I purchased something else from their website, I "might" receive a courtesy hanger.To be extremely clear, I take no ire to the customer service I received. Michele was prompt and apologetic. This screams of tacky, stingy management, and I'm not surprised. Totally classless, and I'm eager to have my subsequent suit(s) tailored at a more service-aligned establishment. It's a shame to see this once-impeccable institute stoop to this level, and I'm sure it reflects on the quality of their custom work now as well.

After the fires this store became my "go to" men's store. I found lines of excellent quality that I really liked--Peter Millar, Scott Barbour, Trask, Robert Graham, Heritage, a couple of Italian designers, and the Patrick James label. The service was very personalized--I was recognized when I called in by my first name alone. Then manager, Don, was a true professional and very knowledgeable, having worked at another high-end men's store in San Francisco. Within the last several months, however, there has been some kind of a shake-up that resulted in a complete change of staff/salespeople. I had visited a few times and walked out because it just wasn't the same. The store just wasn't as well groomed--an expectation created by the former manager and his staff. A couple of weeks ago I ventured in again and purchased a few items, two which needed to have very minor alterations (tacking down of collars on a vest and a shirt). Not having heard from the store today I called over to see if my items were ready. My name wasn't even recognized and I actually had to spell my name--letter by letter, first and last (and my name is fairly simple, anglo-saxon origin, three syllables long). I had a splendid working relationship with a sharp manager who would call or e-mail if something had come in that he thought I might like. Having gone from being recognized on a first name basis to not being known and having to spoon feed the help just to get my name right doesn't set well. I have been brand loyal going as far back as the 1990s. It would be a far smoother transition if the new staff would take the time to get acquainted with, and then remember, the long time customers. Most of the clothing lines that I wear are also available at a high-end men's store in Carmel where I visit fairly regularly, have my own personal clothiers, and am recognized from the moment I arrive. I have wanted to keep my purchasing dollars in the county, realizing that businesses have been hit hard by the fires and COVID. Maybe I'm fortunate in that most of my wardrobe is set and have the basics needed for my current lifestyle. The service of this store will always be compared with "the way it was before", and the comparison comes up very short of the mark for me as a customer and consumer.

I have gone many times to Patrick James throughout the past few years. The quality of clothes is amazing and yes, it's obviously a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I definitely recommend

I was browsing around for some fall/winter additions to my wardrobe, and went into the Patrick James Santa Rosa store. I haven't been in for sometime, and was surprised to only see young woman working. They stayed behind the counter but finally came out to see if I needed help. The whole while I was in the store there was country music playing. Over the years I have bought quite a few different pieces of clothing from them, so I was disappointed, especially at the lack of true professional salesmanship that a high-end mens store should provide. It was an entirely different atmosphere I experienced.

I have been a good customer of Patrick James in several other markets. I found this store to be well below their standard. On several occasions I attempted to purchase clothing but left empty handed due to an employee that is to lazy to help me find something that fit. It's like a club they acknowledged us sized us up and walked away. I moved here 7 years ago and at least twice a year I try to shop there but left empty handed due to rude employees. When your selling $200 slacks and shirts the customers need some service.

My mom and I just went in there, looking for something for my dad, and all we got were creepy glares from the guys working in there. You'd think for having such pricey things, we would be treated with a little more respect and a little better than if we were women of the night. Too bad, since we used to shop at Patrick James often and like their clothes. Never coming back again.

WOW!!!! I would say the best place to get your first suite. Great quality, well made and sharp. Well worth every penny to look this good. And the service outstanding...thank you James:)
