I totally unexpectedly got hold of Adam Milanovich as we received an email from Provident since they were our current mortgage holder and just trying to keep our business when we were getting our house sold into a new house with enticing rates and a discount. Adam is super professional and responsive. I was actually going with another mortgage firm that just did not do it for me. After talking with him. He walked us through various options so that we would not have to get MPI and he really thought outside of the box where solutions were available that I did not think were possible to get us into our home, not just with the required down payment but also helping pay off other loans to really help for our long-term future and success in having our new home purchased. I really appreciate his attention to detail as well as the fact that he shared about his personal life being a dad and being a Provident customer as well and I really enjoy the stability that this company offers as well as the ease of the entire application process and they have a very awesome people working on the team that handled our application and it was through, in my opinion record time. I would definitely say that if you are going to be making one of the largest purchases of your life that you want to be in the hands of somebody that you can trust and it is competent and I would say that Adam is that person hands down. Thank you!

Do not even try this lender. They try very hard to nitpick in your documents and delay the process, so that your locked interest rate will expire.
As an example, they requested very tiny updates to my homeowners insurance documents at least 5 times. And they won’t let you know all the requirements at once, I had to call insurance again and again. And every time I got an update from insurance, the lender would wait at least a day to get back. So just the insurance doc took over 2 weeks. Unbelievable. BTW when I did my previous mortgage 1 year ago, nothing was wrong with my insurance, the very same insurance.

I worked with Provident to purchase my first home and had a wonderful experience. Adam and Lisa were always quick to respond and proactive in communication. It could not have been a more seamless experience. I will highly recommend them to anyone I know who is looking to purchase real estate.

I used Provident Funding for my current California residence, and I recently used them again to purchase a home in another state. My son also is a Provident Funding customer in Colorado. We both agree the Provident Funding rates are competitive, and the on-line tools make the purchase and refinancing process about as easy as it can possibly be.The on-line process can be accessed at your convenience, and the Provident Funding team is very responsive. I can look confidently to Provident Funding without shopping other lenders, and I have no trouble recommending them to family and friends.

For any and all loan originators out there... use absolutely ANYONE ELSE! Has to be the worst lending experience of my life. Their underwriting department is a MESS and their communication is ungodly awful. Seriously, just don't give them anymore business. They don't deserve it.

Stephen Guevara was the lender for buyer clients of mine here in San Diego. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and very responsive. I felt like I always knew what was going on as the purchase progressed. We closed on time, and in fact, could have closed much earlier had the sellers allowed it. Highly recommend!

I was a first time home buyer in a horrible situation. I had been scammed by a mortgage broker and I was one week out from closing. Jon Scherer and Adriana Weant were able to get me fully approved in one day and closed on time. The process was easy and seamless through their online portal. I also got a better rate due to having a family member who uses them. I would highly recommend Provident to anyone looking for a reasonable and expedient mortgage lender!

They send out coupons disguised as Official documents that look like checks with wording like "Final Notice" and "call immediately" all over it. It should be considered fraud and this company is pathetic.
