Great place to Deliver. Staff is quick to get you a door, and the Forklift Operator Luis gets you in and out of the dock and gets you on your way! It is one of the best food banks to go to.

Went to the alleged distribution at Santa Alicia Park in Rohnert Park the other day. As if a whole entire hour in the late morning of the middle of the week isn't super convenient..adding to it the fact that y'all can't be bothered to stay open for the entirety of that single hour YOU post on YOUR website that you'll be there.Really disappointed I rushed to make it before 11am, only to arrive with 10mins to spare & everyone's packing up the food. When I enquired if I was too late, a worker snarkily replied, "YEP!"Should change ur website to reflect the shutting down at 10:45am instead of 11am.. with how many MILLIONS the CEO makes annually, the least they could do is make sure y'all are there for the full measley hour once a week.

Check in was fast.Plenty of room to back into your door but be careful of cross traffic exciting the parking lot as you back.Plenty of room to stage trucks along the curb before you're assigned a door.Overall great unload time and customer service.

I'm more than Greatful for any free food I can get. That being said I arrange to pick up for my self and two, sometimes 3 other families seeing as where we live is very rural and a trip to town is quite aways. So my neighbors and I all try to help out anytime one of goes to town for anything. Everytime I go through the dive thru distribution I make it very clear to all of the volunteers that I'm picking up for 3 families and every time I get home I'm lucky if I get two families rations. Which makes it hard to divide it up for thee families. Especially seeing as the food banks aren't giving out as much as the pandemic is dying down. So basically I end up with less of the food that I really do need. Also my car has an motorized tailgate. I always make sure to tell them that I will close it myself. But they are so busy that nobody pays attention and somebody usually forces it closed. The first time this happened they caused almost 2,000$ with of damage to my new car. Thank God it was under warranty. But now this happened several times since then, even with me telling them repeatedly each time. Unfortunately the car is no longer under warranty and the dealer's discounted estamate was 800$ out of my pocket making me even more in need of assistance.I appricate and I'm so grateful that the are down there trying to make a difference and help people that really need it. Their intentions are truly golden but a little focus would really make a bigger differenceEither way God bless them for their efforts!

The employees are amazingly helpful and kind. If you are homeless, try another place. It caters to a selective crowd.

What a great resource. You can volunteer here or you can go to pick up food or diapers.

Tomie with Diaper Delivery services is a phenomenal employee. He delivered diapers today to a low income property I serve and has exemplary customer service skills. Very friendly, helpful and professional. He should get a raise and definitely deserves praise. Thanks Tomie and thank you REFB for the exceptional employees that you hire, as we have been super impressed with all the delivery driver staff. Also, Amy who coordinates diaper deliveries is always super responsive, grateful for her support.

Amazing organization feeding people in need in the bay area. Amazing personnel in the warehouse help the volunteers to work and help on there turn in the prep of the food for distribution.

The Redwood Empire Food Bank (REFB) serves several counties from Sonoma County all the way up to the Oregon border. REFB helps provide people healthy food and nutritional education for kids, families and seniors. REFB has an impressive warehouse facility in Santa Rosa that makes all the magic happen of packaging and producing food for communities. REFB relies on support from the community. I've had the pleasure of volunteering at REFB in several capacities over the years. I usually volunteer for warehouse support and package food boxes or weigh and package produce into bags. I've packaged apples, oranges and carrots before. I've volunteered in the kitchen and assisted the chef in creating hundreds of burritos for the community before and that was a nice hands-on experience. I even learned some new skills in the kitchen, and it was a lot of fun too! I wish there were weekend spots for kitchen collective so I could volunteer there more. There are weekend spots for the warehouse support though, which is also very rewarding. If you are looking for something new to do or want to give back to the community the REFB is the perfect place to do just that!

Such a fun and good place to volunteer. It feels great, and everyone who works there is very kind and accommodating. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory levels of worker enthusiasm!
