Redwood Gospel has been a great help to us when it comes to food and clothing when we were low on funds. Now they have gone an extra mile and helped us into a new place by also donating furniture. They were all very nice and helpful people that love to help others.

Honestly, it is infuriating knowing they take donations as a religious affiliation and mark their donations as expensiveas they do. They post things over 500$ even though there are noticeable damages and stains. Shoes are priced more than new ones at Marshall's/TJ Maxx. Also, if that was bad enough, apparently, if they don't put their price stickers on something, you can not purchase that item. I overheard the guy at the front cash register turn away 5 people just in the 10 minutes I was there because they put things out without stickers. Seems like a company issue vs. a consumer problem. THIS IS NOT A THRIFT STORE, more or less a greedy, overpriced junk/consignment store. Highly recommend going elsewhere!

Well one thing about a second hand store you need to make a routine to check it out to see what as been brought in from donations . I do . To find a great deal .

I found out about this place on my Nextdoor app. I normally take my donations to the Goodwill but the last time they wouldn't take several items ( like new cookbooks, brand new garden drip hose, plastic sealable bowls, etc). So I gave this place a call and within a couple of days they came to my home to PICK UP EVERYTHING. They Just asked to have the items in boxes that are closed so they can be stacked. I heard later about the good things they do for their employees. I'll have to pay a visit to their store.

This place is OVERPRICED FOR USED STUFF SOMEONE IS pricing many items for more than what they cost in the store NEW. I asked an employee about a used jacket that's priced at $60 IF they Would go lower on the price and they would not. Over and over again I'm seeing things that came from the dollar tree, and they're pricing them for $5. Lots of the Clothing is ridiculously overpriced ..... they are often charging more for items used than what they cost new!! I love buying from thrift stores and supporting good causes, but the items should also be priced appropriately.

Hadn't come in a while and thought I'd stop by and I walked out astonished and empty handed. I don't know what happened or what they are thinking but everything is way and I mean WAY overpriced. It's so bad. For example, a vase had the price tag for $15 you flip it over and new from Ross was $12. A Christmas house was in a box for $15 and they priced it at $27. And theses items were not vintage and this is only a couple of examples. I walk to the furniture section and literal falling apart furniture that isn't even real wood $150. When my aunt mentioned to the guy hey this price is more than the original price for buying it new he was not friendly about it at all. He ended up apologizing when we were walking out (both empty handed) 15 minutes later. There's just no way this is okay. I understand resellers have kinda ruined the thrifting experience but also this is absurd because at the end of the day these items are DONATED.

I was impressed with how well organized the store was. It's a big place and after seeing the area with fans, heaters & electronics, I vowed to purchase our next one there, (My Mother-in-law burns through new ones every season). I found several clothing items I would have purchased except the fitting rooms were closed. There is a 3 day return policy but I live too far away to make that feasible due to gas prices. Good positive music and cheerful workers made this a pleasant shopping experience! I don't mind paying a couple dollars more for the good work they do AND I try to donate to them exclusively my best giveaways.

It's a great location, lots of great stuff. Unfortunately the furniture and most of the clothing is always WAY overpriced. If you find a pair of vans in there they price them almost always a few bucks less then what you can get brand new ones for. I often stop by, I do love to look here and I know it's a great cause...but SO expensive!!!

Prices are way too high here. You'll get better deals at other thrift stores. I honestly don't understand what they're thinking.

Every time I come in here it's usually for something random and as a last resort! The employees are less that approachable, actually they a simply downright rude! Definitely the last time I will come here! Overpriced for a thrift store! I'll go down the street where you are always greeted with a warm welcome and friendly smile. For being a place of God the employees are a complete misrepresentation, so so so sad!

This place is a hit and miss but I've been very lucky to find things at times at a reasonable price. Today, was not that. I bought over 40$ ( usually buy more) worth of stuff from their dishes department and I found an extremely cute plate with cats on it. At the checkout they told me they could not sell it to me. I understand why they have that policy everywhere in the store because people will take off the prices and make something up. I'm not stealing, I really wanted that plate, like a lot! I would've paid way above price. They made no exceptions, and wouldn't put it on hold. (They have made exceptions before, if it was one or two items without prices and I'm buying over 50$) It's really disappointing because it makes no logical sense and it also implies that the costumer is not important. I know this is a thrift store but I shop here to give back to the community and for sustainability. Their cashier was also not friendly, and seemed annoyed when I asked if there was any other way I can purchase it. I have several shifts the next day so I can't stop by and they wouldn't give me another option to let me know when this item would be available. Today could've turned out nice, and would've gone home with something I totally love, but instead, I was disregarded as a costumer.

I honestly go back and forth with this thrift store. Friendly staff. I have found some really great items for reasonable prices. However, sometimes they price things so high it feels it's like not in line with their mission of helping the community. I've heard them talk about how much things sell for on eBay - but are they actually looking at what things sold for, or just what people are listing them for? And are they clean and in mint condition? And shipped to my door? Plus, they get things for free. Most of the hard goods are pretty disorganized, though they make an effort to have nice displays on the end caps. Furniture is overpriced for secondhand, IMO. Today, I picked up a wall tapestry that was marked $15 and had multiple cat turds stuck to it. So I don't think I'll be buying any of their linens that aren't still in original packages.

Best espresso in town! I’m such a nerd about coffee and used to be a barista myself - Redwood Gospel Coffee cares about the beans they are roasting and they care about the final product with perfectly steamed milk and strategically dialed in espresso. Besides what they pour at the location, they also have beans you can buy for home. I’m so happy to have found this place!
