The manager at Scandanavian design went the extra mile to help fix an out of warranty chair. It was a favorite chair but well beyond warranty. He got it fixed without having to wait months for parts. We are so grateful... great products and service.

Furniture these days is mostly online if you want a real choice of pieces. I bought the Bolig bed for a condo in the desert and on Black Friday the same bed was on sale at 1/3 off! So I used this amazing opportunity to remodel our bedroom at home. No need to go in, I just called in the order over the phone. A very friendly sales rep took the order and make sure all my questions were answered. For a mere $99 Scandnavian Designs delivers and sets up the bed. Done. Then when the day came, the delivery guy was so helpful, cheerfull and just a great person to meet. HE was extraordinary.This all adds up to a 5 star experience in a world where retail isn't having such a great time. Just keep doing what you are doing. Great place and local as well.

I had bought a couch at another store. I have a weird front entrance and the delivery folks refused to even try to get it in the door -- it was possible. I then went to SD and found a couch that is much more "me" and I realized that the other store's failure was actually to my benefit. The universe must have been listening! I told the saleswoman my dilemma, gave her measurements and photos of the entryway, and she went to bat for me with her delivery people so I was assured it would be delivered before I would place the order. The couch came today and I couldn't be happier. It's beautiful, comfortable, and very well made.

My wife and I have shopped at Scandinavian Designs for over 30 years. Styles change. Kids move out. Remodels. You name it.Our experience has been one where you're greeted warmly and the staff without being overbearing..... always right there with thoughtful advice, attention and a tape measure when we need one.The furniture is solid and well designed. I'm sitting at an office desk I bought more than 25 years ago. I'd add a photo, but it's a mess.Did I mention Karen? Our favorite assistant in the store! They're all great........... but, we've worked with her on nearly every purchase since moving to Sonoma County.
