A lovely thrift store! They do a great job with this store.PRO:- Excellent prices! Unlike other thrift stores that have hiked prices since 2020, Sutter has keep prices low- Excellent cause since it all goes to hospital hospice- Well laid out store- Housewares is always unique- Selection of tchotchke is terrific! Real treasuresCON:- Clothing isn't always sorted by size which makes it difficult to go through the racks- Shares parking with Trader Joe's so during peak hours they hog up all of the parking spots- Extensive covered jewelry area, it would take some time to look at it all!SUMMARY:I never miss looking around at Sutter Hospice. I don't always find something but it's definitely one of my go-to's. When I do find something, it always feel special

Rude and disrespectful staff. Specifically the 2 female employees. 1 of them isn’t very attentive to her work as a cashier either. The other 2 male staff there are nice and doing their job politely and efficiently, haven’t had a problem with them but I’ve had a problem with the female employees there multiple times.

I donated several furniture items. The gentlemen who picked them up at my house were professional and careful.

This is my favorite thrift store. It's got great items for great prices. Clothes, household decor, plates, silverware, seasonal decor, crafts, kids stuff, shoes, furniture etc. There's parts that are disorganized but that's part of the fun of thrifting. They have the best decorations here during Christmas time. I've never had a negative experience with the staff. Parking is terrible but that's only because Trader Joe's (they are next door) parking lots are always cramped. No bathroom but you can go next door if you need to. Overall I've found amazing gems at this store and it's very affordable! Donating is easy as well but you have to go before their bin is full.

This review is regarding furniture:This store only caters to LOCALS with money. If you are from out of town and see a piece of vintage furniture, forget it, they never price vintage furniture right away. It’s always “Sorry, we won’t have that priced today.” And when it is priced, it’s always astronomical. When I asked the manager about that, she said they have someone come in who sells antiques and they charge half of what he would charge. The reality is that they’re never priced competitively with comparable used items in Sonoma County. PSA: Antique stores actually PAY for the merchandise they sell and are not currently doing well because of the state of the economy. Come down to Earth, Hospice.

I haven't been in the store since before covid and was very disappointed. The store was short staffed and the 2 older ladies working the floor were rather rude. The cashier was licking her fingers to separate the shopping bags at check out which was so disgusting. Some cute items in the store but some items were just dirty. Hopefully this was a fluke, but I won't be returning anytime soon.

The selection and pricing here is so-so. But the employees at the register are so incredibly rude. I feel like I don't want to ask to see anything in the case because they act very inconvenienced and annoyed if you ask them anything. I get the impression that they just want to sit and read and can't wait for us all to get the hell out of the store.

Good thrift store with wide variety of items, and decent prices. Good place to look for quality purses. Really wish they would re-open the dressing room though. I don't know how they can expect to sell clothing if one cannot try it on? They are losing business by not having a dressing room.

Driving down Cleveland Ave, I noticed there was a Sutter Hospice Thrift Store. Turning around, I was surprised to find a store full of wonderful donated items. By buying or donating, you can support the Hospice program. Every family is faced with a loved one that gets a life limiting illness. Hospice provides comfort and dignity in your home in your final days. I purchased a beautiful book on the history of Egypt. There is a large variety of things to choose from. The people working here are very friendly. I highly recommend this store.

I had fun browsing the store. I bought a little loveseat for $75 in great shape. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Overpriced (as high as online shopping & even more expensive then Goodwill), unfriendly, and the staff lied about their sales. The clothes are not washed, and have stains and rips and in poor quality. They charge full price for broken cheap furniture. I also noticed a bug problem and I'm worried there might be bedbugs on some of their merchandise and especially the clothing. Honestly I was really disappointed with this Thrift store. I'm not sure how they are not shut down already. I will not be back :(

This Revue comes 1 month after my previous Revue. The over inflated..above market pricing straategy continues. Many items are present...unsold..over a month later. This creates stagnant inventory..& does not tempt regular shoppers to buy. Many competing Thrift stores feature daily % off marked inventory. This store does not even offer a senior discount 1x weekly as most other stores offer. Their selection of used good does not merit a higher price point. Adjacent to the parking lot are areas of dirt without appealing plantings or flowers...just bare dirt. These small features say volumes about the lacking attention to detail present at this store. Why are the first few parking spaces in front of the store always filled with 2 large delivery/pick up trucks ? These should be BLUE HANDICAPPED PARKING PLACES. One competing Thrift store features a "Wheel of Fortune" where the purchaser spins the wheel for possible discounts. This might be a good strategy for Hospice to utilize. Please "Spice up the Mix" ..& create new customer interest.

Sutters two thrift stores in Santa Rosa represent better quality second hand items than most others in Sonoma County. Both pricing and selection are top notch. I have acquired some pretty cool things at both locations. I really like this particular location by Trader Joe's (which will reopen soon!) Lots of parking, friendly staff, affordable goodies, all for charity!

I really like shopping at Sutter Hospice. The program benefitted my family years ago so I try to donate items to them when I can. I found several records that would fit into my family's collection nicely. Having just been at their other location across the freeway they did not honor the sale price that I had received at the other location. Not going to complain as it's still a great deal. It seems that this location has a little nice/gentlier used items for sale. The woman working the register needed a little guidance on the how to ring up. But she was very pleasant to speak with.
