This place is great- being run by several helpful and friendly people. I needed a mailbox and they let me email the necessary documents to them instead of making me go home and come back with hard copies. Also, there is a welcoming, family-type atmosphere and prompt service. Can you imagine?! A place where they seem glad you are there and they WANT to help you?! It still exists :) I imagine after a few trips in they will probably know me by name, which is something I crave in our fast paced world where real customer service is the exception rather than the rule. This place rocks.

I brought in about 200 documents (charged for 1200 pieces of paper). And to be copied onto a Thumb drive that they provide. Total bill was $460.14 cents, which I was not prepared for. There was no estimate as to what it would cost, other than approximately $5 per 20 or 60 pieces of paper (Rachel the manager wasn't clear on the cost at the time of inquiry on my way over to get the scans done). I was charged $150 for labor - $30 per hour X 5 hours. Note that most of the documents just needed to have staples removed and fed through a scanner and re-stapled and move onto the next document. Many of the documents were old or 8-1/2 X 14 and required more personal handling for scanning. I was surprised that labor would cost extra, but I figured the UPS store might do that too and that it wouldn't be that much. But I was extremely incorrect. Needing the docs for a meeting with a lawyer, I just paid it. I went thru each page of each document scanned so I could not only name the file but also to be sure each doc was scanned. Most of the documents were scanned adequately, some with minor slanting. But MANY of the documents were scanned very crookedly; some unusable. And there were critical documents that weren't even scanned; they were looked over, requiring me to go through hoops to get 8-1/2 X 14 docs onto my hard drive as I can only scan 8-1/2 X 11 at home and don't have the capability to feed many pages through. I spent the entire day today - So far at least 7 hours -- and not done yet -- going thru each doc, rescanning as necessary, taking photos, editing, emailing so I could scan THOSE docs. I called the shop and spoke with Rachel the manager and complained kindly. She apologized and said she would speak with the employee as she was rushing the job because it's a small business. It would have been good business to offer some refund or some notion of good faith. Or even offer to rescan the improperly done one. Rachel further mentioned that had she known how voluminous it was she wouldn't have accepted the job as its in the middle of their busy season. It's November 30th, not mid-December. I told her that I didn't need it ASAP and that if it took another day or two that would work as long as I knew about when so I could schedule meetings around it. I am surprised that she would turn jobs away. Additionally when I showed up, I had a very heavy bag full of documents that I had just retrieved from the bank and didn't want to leave them in the car, so I took them in with me. I could barely handle that load and then asked for help to my car with the job stack. I was told they are not allowed to leave the shop to help a customer because their boss doesn't have insurance in case an employee was hurt. Absurd. I mentioned on the call with Rachel that it is odd as the UPS store etc can help out customers. Her response is that in the future I could just have them do my jobs instead because they just don't have that insurance and it was too big a job for a little shop like that. I COULD HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT AND WOULD HAVE GONE TO THE UPS STORE, WHICH IS ACTUALLY CLOSER TO ME, BUT WANTED TO GIVE BUSINESS TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY THAT IS NOT A CHAIN. Wasn't worth it. Next time I will go to the UPS store. They're professional there.

The female notary at the 4th street location is so rude and unprofessional it's unbelievable. She turned me away, rudely, for a valid reason but with so much attitude it offended me. When I came back with the correct paperwork, she saw me waiting in line again and right when I got to the clerk she walked away. He went to get her and came back to tell me, "she JUST went back and clocked out for her lunch I guess..." So I went to the other location and was helped by the owner who just listened with a blank face when I told him what happened. My reason for needing notary service was because my dad died, so needless to say this was an emotional and traumatic time. Kindness goes a long way in general, but as a place of business is it even an option these days? I'll NEVER support this business again. The notaries are rude, unprofessional, and unkind.

Went in for Live Scan and walked out in under 5 minutes! Rolling fee was reasonable, staff was polite and helpful. I highly recommend using Central Office for Live Scan service.

An expensive item arrived damaged. TCO will not take any responsibility for their sub standard packing, insisting that I file a claim with UPS. I did supply the shipping label. However, this is not a delivery issue. It's a poor packing issue as can be seen in the photos. This package would have arrived damaged using any shipping agency. Management was unfriendly and unaccommodating. The only bright spot was dealing with one of their employees, Kayla. I had high hopes that the rest of her team would follow by example. Clearly there's a break down in professionalism and ethics.

This place is great! Ava was so helpful, patient, and understanding. I had to get two documents notarized and then shipped over night to Texas. She went through the whole process with me and a Texas representative who was giving me crap about how it's notorized. Ava got everything sorted and taken care of. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you!

Best place I've ever gotten livescan fingerprinting done! Super fast, plus the people working there were genuinely friendly - and there's a cute, well-behaved small dog. Noticed on the way out that they even sell some locally made items, which is really neat (something in jars - honey or jam?, dog bandanas, possibly other things).

The Central Office is a convenient center for all of my mailing and business needs. Parking is easy, the staff are friendly and professional and I almost never have to wait in line. I have used their mailing services and notary. They always assist with finding the most economical and safe ways to send packages. I also love all their fun stamps to choose from. The Central Office just makes my life a bit easier!

What a colossal waste of time and $.I went there to have loan modification docs notarized. The girl there missed a page. The lender sent me 2 new sets of docs to have signed again. I went back and the girl was out sick. Went back a 3 rd time and they wouldn’t do them over unless they knew what was wrong. I tried to call my lender but there is no cell signal in their office and it was too loud outside with the traffic on 4th st.I go home and call my lender and they tell me the notary missed one page on both sets of docs.I go back there a 4th time. Now the “owner” is refusing to do the docs over as he’s blaming us for missing the page. We paid $120 to have the docs notarized. Now he wants to charge me $60 for the one page. I explained that I can’t send the lender one page. They want a console packet. They refused to make it right. Also refused to give me my $ back.Poor customer service. Lack of accountability. Not to mention the notary girl sat there smirking the whole time. They know they were wrong. They have to live with it.

So I go this mail shop in Santa Rosa called #thecentraloffice to have some loan docs notarized. Paid $170. Sent them to the lender. A week later ther sent me a set set of docs and a meter saying the first set was not done correctly. I go back to to the notary and she was out sick. The owner was there and Leo saying if it was so other did they'd take care of it otherwise he was going to charge me. I go back today. Third trip there. The girl was there but they wouldn't te do the notary as they wanted to know why the first set was rejected. I tried to call lender but their store has no reception. I went iutsobut the traffic out stead too loud avd the ke get couldn't hear be and hung up. So, I go hold and call the lender. They said a certain page on each set (2) were not signed. I go back a FOURTH time and tell them that they missed a page on each set. The same page. Do the owner says it's not their fault and wants to charge me $170 again. Or charge me $60 got the one oage. I explained that I can't just send one oage. They need the complete packet. Stalemate. He refuses to make it right. I have no recourse. He got $170 out of me and the docs are useless. I called my bank and they said there is nothing I can do as I did receive service from them, even though it was incomplete and resulted in a useless document. I can get it done at my bank, but can't get in until the 21st. Total wast of time and $ but what really pissed me off was his absolute unwillingness to accept any responsibility oe ever make any attempt to make it right. Oh, that and the girl that was the notary just sat there with a smirk on her face. What total shit custom service. Total wast of my time and money Seriously, avoid this place..

I am forever connected to Santa Rosa regardless of where I live, and The Central Office is the perfect solution for my correspondence and packages to land when I'm unable to be there for periods of time. Rachel is particularly wonderful, always patient with my questions and processes my requests quickly and efficiently. Whether I need mail forwarded, held, or opened and scanned electronically, I am in great hands with Rachel & the crew at The Central Office.

This place is so awesome. I have been using their services for almost a year, and rely on them so much. I work for a Tax Preparation Company and mail very important documents every day. They have never let me down. Rachel and Eva are incredible. They have gone above and beyond for me on countless occasions. Not only has Rachel taken the time to answer endless questions, she once spotted an error I had made on a very important package and was able to correct it just in time. Rachel and Eva are so kind to boot, they always greet you with a genuine smile. I truly do not know what I would do with out them.

This conveniently located professional services center takes walk-ins and is fast efficient and friendly. The ladies behind the counter are real people, with an understanding of their customers needs and serve as an integral feature for this sonoma county community. I highly recommend taking your business needs here and keeping this business thriving.

This store will evidently take your money ( in my case more than $500) and then abandon you when shipping complications arise, and say, in effect, Sorry, not our problem. I just can't believe that this office would not go to MANY lengths to advocate for the customer! If it is at the discretion of DHL to not even turn over a shipment to Customs, there should have been a warning at the time of shipment.. I have been shipping packages to Europe and Australia for 9 years -- and even used Central Office a couple of times some years ago, and this problem -- with the onerous demands and threats to charge for storage -- and abandonment by the U.S. shipper NEVER arose. The Central Office staff person with whom I spoke basically insulted my reading of the DHL demands. I did raise my voice but only when she would not let me finish my request for an explanation and inquiry about why DHL was holding my $500 shipment. Her angry response and insults to me surpassed my lament to get help. The boxes were shipped from CENTRAL OFFICE WITH ALL REQUESTED PAPERWORK, payment, documents, etc.How can this be a fair return on a HUGE financial outlay.
