I’ve been coming to true value here in Larkfield for nearly 30 years. But today I got 4 keys made and they lost my original set of keys. When I noticed they hadn’t given them back to me I went immediately back (I had only driven two blocks) and went back to retrieve the keys. The guy who made my keys didn’t even remember that he had a brass key and a silver home key. He kept denying that until the other counter guy confirmed it. Then they both said their policy was to give the keys back.
Another manager came up and told me I was basically out of luck. No taking my name or number down or anything. After nearly 30 years of service I’m done. This is beyond acceptable. One of the jus was the only key for that cool set that I had. Now I’ll have to take that lock set into a locksmith to have a new key made for it. Something these guys didn’t even seem concerned about when I mentioned it.
The worst service I have ever had. And given that you are paying sometimes double what you would at Home Depot, service is why you would come here. I’m beyond disappointed in this place. Literally the worst service I’ve received.

Best place for all odd hardware. Great selection of nuts and bolts for your specific needs. Best place I've found to get propane tanks filled or exchanged. Very cool selection of vintage military items and fire hose nozzles, as well as, modern nozzles and fire fighting equipment.

I had run over something, like paint, and it was all over my back wheel and tire.
Asking for assistance from a younger gentleman, he got some really good advice for me from another gentleman. After trying to get the white stuff off of the wheel with a pressure washer with absolutely 0 success, my advice was to use a heavy duty citrus cleaner. Wheel was clean in 20 minutes.

I am always working on projects, usually needing some random obscure piece of hardware to get to the finish line. Frequently, I can’t find the hardware anywhere except this store. The staff is always checking to see if you need help, and they’re very helpful in being creative to find you what you need. I needed a very specific spring coil mechanism this morning, went in to this true value, and the staff checked multiple departments to get me multiple options for my project, and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Always worthwhile to come here and get whatever you need, and I’m very happy to have them in my neighborhood. It’s incredible that they seem to have everything under the sun in a relatively small space..
