Looking forward to supporting this LOCAL business. The big chains can't seem to get their act together.

Since we moved to Santa Rosa back in 2005, we've tried juat about every pharmacy in town. Rite Aid, Walgreens and CVS are the big three in Sonoma County and Walgreens is closest to our home. We tried and tried to use Walgreens Pharmacy. We would eithr drop off our prescription or the doctor would send electronically. Go to Walgreens the next day and wait 20 minutes in line only to get to the counter and be told our prescription wasn't ready. Have a seat for another 20 minutes and then you can get your prescription. There has to be a better way. There is, it's called Tuttles Hoen Pharmacy. Once I discovered this neighborhood pharmacy, I transferred all of my prescriptions there. Mike, the pharmacist is a great to deal with, answers any questions about dosage or side effects of the medications and will follow up to my doctor with refill requests when they aren't sent right away. Chrissy, the woman that handles the computer insurance approvals and the cash register is an angel and if I ask for a phone call when they receive a prescription from my doctor, she calls me and lets me know the prescription is there. They need to clone Chrissy and send the clones over to Walgreens to get things moving. When I can't get over to Hoen Ave. to pick up my prescription, which is about 25% of the time. I ask fora delivery. They have a morning and an afternoon delivery. I have always received my prescriptions from the Tuttles Hoen driver when they are expected. They seem to have retired people doing their deliveries and they do a great job. As long as Mike and the crew at Tuttles Hoen Pharmacy keep the doors open I will continue to go there and hope that the secret about the best pharmacy in Santa Rosa doesn't get out. I'd hate t o have to wait in line 20 minutes at Tuttles Hoen Ave.

Avoid! Small selection of products, and the male pharmacist is rude. If curmudgeon were a person, it'd be him. However, the woman who helped me was friendly!

Someone or something has changed. There is a lightness to the pharmacy now. Mike the pharmacist is still there but I actually see him smiling now and then. The staff seem happier and overall it's a more receptive shop to visit. Whatever change they made in the last two years was a good one!

Something is seriously wrong with the male pharmacist at Tuttle Hoen. He insulted me, lied about me "yelling" at him and then didn't fill important prescriptions from the hospital I was just released from because I didn't have a "bin number?" for my Medicare. FYI there is no such thing according to my primary care. I have never had a problem like this and he hung up on me leaving without antibiotics and pain medication for a broken arm. He is unprofessional and dangerou!

This is a horrible pharmacy. Don't ever ask them to deliver. I went without medication because they didn't drop it off as promised before thanksgiving weekend. Had to go to another pharmacy and pay out of pocket to tide me over until getting it filled with Tuttle's because they already billed my insurance. Sure enough when I called the week after they state "we aren't sure why your meds weren't delivered they're tiring right here ready to go!" I asked them to PLEASE deliver them same day and guess what? NO MEDS WERE DELIVERED today either! It's often life threatening for people to skip Medicine for not getting their meds on time let alone having to wait for over a week after me reminding them twice and them promising me twice. As a physician I am appalled that such a place remains open.

I love that the staff are wearing and requiring masks, keeping us all safe. They filled my Rx quickly and it was inexpensive.

Nice people, overworked, but need to update their technology, is my guess. I've had nothing but awesome experiences at Tuttle on Sonoma, but this location has 1) short hours 2) small waiting room (though to be fair, same as the Tuttles on Sonoma), and a long wait on the phone. Of the 4 times I've been there, they've only been able to fill my prescription once. Now, two of those times were apparently because of my insurance, but I'd never had that experience at Safeway Pharmacy with the exact same credentials. Sad to say, but I'll probably revert back to Safeway- it's just too much of a one stop convenience to give up. If I need a compounded drug, I'll definitely go to Tuttles, since that seems to be a skill of the past!

Life saving medication filled just fine for months. Then one day I got for pickup and I'm told I have to fill it somewhere else. No call, no explanations, just "we can't get it you need to go somewhere else". Chrissy was really really nice at least. Pretty sure it's an insurance issue but the pharmacist definitely could have communicated that better.

I’ve been treated with kindness, prompt service and commitment to their patients/customers. I’ve been using their services for almost two years and have had nothing but good experiences with the whole staff. I would recommend them to any family and friends. Great family owned, local business that truly cares! I couldn’t be happier with them and plan to be a customer for as long as I need medicine and information.

At a time when the big chains are cutting employees and services Tuttles is the traditional pharmacy and they deliver!

I have insurance, but am still waiting for my card. I gave the woman all info she needed and she refused to process it through insurance. Said it was too hard and she needed card. What??? I am giving you the numbers that are on the card. Had to pay out of pocket. Wasn't a huge amount. What a mistake. Unhelpful and inflexible.
