We just had a GREAT experience with this practice. Our Border Collie mix needed a canine influenza booster and our usual vet was unable to do this for her. They were not only out of the booster but couldn't squeeze her in for 2 months. But THIS practice changed the game for us: 1) Answered the phone quickly and professionally! 2) Had the needed booster! 3) Could offer an appointment within 3 days! Wow, so easy. Then for the appointment itself- I walked in and Tashi's name was up on the Welcome board. They gave her a cookie to help her calm down, got me into the exam room quickly, and Karen handled the check-in process with complete professionalism. We met Dr. Cutler for the first time- what a gem of a Vet, down-to-earth and very helpful. We had a wellness exam that was also instructive for me, and very gentle for our pooch. The check-out process was also quick and easy, all records were emailed to me immediately. I have to say it again: WOW. This has NOT been my experience in the past and we now have a new vet! We are so pleased, thank you to the whole staff at VCA Sequoia Valley!

A few days ago I made what would be my last trip to this VCA facility. In addition to Drs. Dotti and Cutler (loved both of them for their skills and professionalism (and I'm a registered nurse who is not afraid to be critical) they've now added a much need full time vet to their staff.I came for a last visit because I will now be taking an assignment in another area of the state and I wanted another look by their trained eyes to help guide my care for my little, now 14 years old, Maltese dog (that's Clyde in the photo) who suffers from a serious and chronic heart condition. I've been with this facility for about a year now and their thoughtful expertise have really given my little guy a happier, healthier life so he can do his job of maintaining my own mental health (I'm a psychiatric nurse) working so far from friends and family. They even signed me up for a special plan that saved me hundreds of dollars on his care.We had a nice visit with Dr. Cutler, who first diagnosed and treated him. We were able to discuss future management issues and got his records sent to our new location. I'm forever grateful to these folks who genuinely love animals and who have provided Me and Clyde excellent, up to date care. They even send text messages on occasion, inquiring about the little guy's care. And, as they asked of me, I will keep them apprised of Clyde's further adventures. This place is top notch in my book. I wish you all continued success in keeping us all healthy by keeping our pets healthy.

We brought our dog here when our usual vet couldn't see him following a health emergency, and have decided this will be our vet clinic going forward. We were very impressed. Everyone- from the receptionist to the hospital manager to the vet tech to the vet- was very eager to help our boy out. You can tell they truly care about the animals in their care. Their discharge process was seamless, and we left feeling confident we knew how to manage our dog's health care needs. Be prepared to receive a lot of emails from VCA, I think we've gotten one daily.

I’ve reviewed these folks on Yelp at least twice so I decided to also spread some joy via google. Drs. Dotti and Cutler have been fantastic in caring for my aging Maltese dog (he’s 14 now). They put him on a fantastic new heart medication which surprised even the doctors with how much it improved my little guy’s heart condition. He’s showing more energy and is back pretty much to his regular, busy self.I’m addition to these two fine doctors I have to say that all the support staff from front desk secretarial services to the Vet techs they are efficient and delightfully skilled in providing good customer service. And they genuinely like animals. Both my dog and I get addressed by our names. And dogs have intensely accurate BS detectors so my boy would let me know if their attention was anything but genuine. He told me to give them 5 stars from him as well.Thank you for taking such good care of my precious little friend and, by so doing, taking care of me.

usually pretty good. Hannah was really tough on the phone, and for this i am discontinuing my patronage of VCA sequia. I just want to be treated with a little common decency, but VCA sequoia seems to be under the impression that they are doing you a favor by helping your dog with fleas, or a check up as if they were too busy to take your phone call, or if you do not answer thier train of irrelevant questions Hannah will be come attitudinal.

So we've been bringing our animals here for about five years. Then we moved across town, which made it a really long drive (and Covid happened about then too). I tried for a year to establish a new vet on this side of town (NESR) without success. When my cat needed to see a vet, I came back to Dr Dotti. I'm glad I did. The staff (shout out to Hannah) is great, and the vets are caring and competent. In this time of drastic shortages and long waits, you can feel it here too. It's hard to get an appointment (but that's true everywhere, believe me)..and they go above and beyond to accommodate you once you're in. And they're mask-serious, which I appreciate. I recommend Dr Dottie and Dr Merriman. And the staff...

They were friendly. However our other vet examined our hen in front of us. Here they went in the back room. If you want to be present with your pet during the exam don't go here. Dr Merrymen told me the bird got stressed during the exam and died and for birds that is not uncommon. If I was with my pet she'd be with someone familiar and perhaps not so stressed. There was no warning of this risk given prior to appointment, no question wether I'd like to be present. There was a fine exam table in the room I waited in. Be it your child or your pet, Never let a DR. take them in the back room where you have no say or sight and they are alone. The hen didn't have much time left anyway but an owner should remain with there pets if at all possible.

Big fan of this particular VCA. I have used the VCA chain in northern and southern California and have always been pleased with the level of service, but this VCA in particular has been my favorite. I came back with our new puppy today to get shots and a check up and had a great experience from start to finish. The front desk associate (Alex) was super helpful in guiding me through the check-in process with the COVID precautions and got me connected with the vet tech. The tech was quick to come out and scoop my pup and give me a quick rundown about the check-up and of the expected timing for the visit. (Bonus: you can grab a taco and beer next door while you wait!) Dr. Dotti was very informative about the current status of the pup and what to expect moving forward with the care plan and gave some tips on what to expect and how to proceed with getting the new puppy trained. She was able to provide information explaining the difference between the VCA care plan and the other insurance that was available. I loved coming here with my cat and am glad to be back with our puppy. I always feel like the information I get is accurate and never feel like I'm being pressured into unnecessary costs. Big fan. Highly recommend.

My dog Moose has been seen by both Dr. Merryman and Dr. Dotti and they were both wonderful and very knowledgeable! They’re obviously passionate about what they do along with all the techs. They helped Moose and me get everything situated and prepared for our move to Germany along with all of his vaccines and tests needed. Big shoutout to Hanna! She was amazing with communication and making sure everything was perfect (thank you again) She even looked ahead to see what requirements the country would need for us to travel. Everything went perfectly for our flight in regards to the paperwork they provided. They even texted me the day of our travel to wish us luck on our adventure. Highly, highly recommend bringing your fur child here! ♥️

I switched to VCA Sequoia Valley Animal Hospital after adopting a new kitten, and I’m SO happy I did. The entire staff is kind, informative, and diligent. The technicians and Dr. Merryman answer all my questions, and they are wonderful with our kitten. The receptionists are friendly, helpful, and have great communication. Thank you, VCA Sequoia Animal Hospital for providing wonderful care!

Very grateful for and glad to have found this animal hospital. My guinea pig had an urgent medical issue and they worked him in and gave him the best care and now he's on the road to recovery. Dr. Merryman as an awesome vet. Thank you again for taking care of and seeing my boy Rocksteady short notice.

Ever since I have owned my little girl, she has been taken to VCA Sequoia Valley, why, you may ask? This VCA was HIGHLY recommended becasue they were known to work with many Bulldogs, English, American, French and other breeds but are fantastic with all animals. The entire staff is friendly and really great to work with. As long as I have my little English Bully, this is where she is going (hopefully not a lot, but she is an English Bulldog)
