Willowside Meats is the last old school family run butcher shop and an incredible gem in Santa Rosa. Customers walk inside to beautiful enclosed fridges of both fresh and frozen meat, with everything tempting them. The shop cuts meat fresh daily and offers a lot of different types of sausages, including alligator, which is a favorite. They also have Tomahawk steaks and lots of Wagyu choices, with two different types that are super good and very affordable. They provide a perfect experience, expertly cutting, smoking, and wrapping meat, such as hogs, with customers extremely pleased with the results. The bacon has an awesome smoke flavor and just the right salt, while smoked hams are yummy. They leave the fat on larger cuts, which is nice to see. The team is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, with butchers working non-stop. Many recommend bringing a bigger cooler when you visit this awesome meat place, as Safeway meat will never taste the same again.
This is the best butcher around hands down. You can often get dry aged cuts for significantly less then grocery stores sell lower quality cuts for and the butchers go out of their way to help. This is a great local business to support.

This butcher shop is amazing. So many meats to choose from. A nice selection of bacons and different sausage. Marinated meats and chicken. Super friendly too.
