Best little Market competes with the majors. Meat department is the best they will custom make your order . Scott is the best he cares so much about his customers.

This little market (full service market I might add) is a sight for sore eyes, especially living in Warner Springs where you have 2 choices: drive to Temecula for the few items you forgot on your weekly planned drive or the gas station mini market which has very few fresh produce items. Don's has a large variety of fresh produce, a butcher section, some premade deli foods (sushi being one), choice selection of baked goods, (Julian Pies their pride) and so on, including our Mexican staple items. Small space & the aisles are narrow, but you'll always find what you need. The big plus is Kate who is the friendliest being we're blessed to encounter and also an asset for many reasons. Knowing she's there makes me feel comfortable shopping there. Busiest times are the weekends and if you see something get it or you might miss out. Quality is excellent.

Amazing local meats and vegetables. Bakery products include fresh breads, pies and often pastries. All the basics you need with great, friendly staff!

This place is really good has lots of fresh produce and good dried fruit, honey desserts they even have sushi that was very good. Lots of candy for the kids loved the fact that they had fresh fruits and vegetables, and a very good selection. I will definitely return to this place when I stay in Julian again.

Fantastic customer service, great prices! Stopped here on the way back from a hike and picked up a pre-made deli sandwich -- amazing! Plus, it was only $4.99. Definitely coming back.

I love Santa Ysabel.. Don’s market is just one of many wonderful family oriented stops as you enjoy Santa Ysabel

Always loved to shop here. But now, on the edge of the Anza Borrego, home of endangered Desert Bighorn Sheep, they've decided to sell mylar balloons. Informed by many locals that the balloons end up in the desert and wildlife chokes on them, the owner flat out states that his profit comes first.Update: the owner has demonstrated some real ill will toward the community asking him to reconsider. I will not return to Don's.Updated Update: this guy is now sending me unhinged direct messages and they are heavily spiced with MAGA influenced insults. First time in all my years on Yelp to encounter this. Maybe the market in Julian or at the Santa Ysabel store (depending which direction you are heading) would be a better option for a stop before you head out to the desert

Great market, they do a very good job on produce, and the butcher shop is second to none, I choose to come here over most places even on the coast. Prices are overall very competitive with the big chains.

I love to drop in this place and buy a canned drink on one of my motorcycle rides, and sit outside at a table and recuperate on a nice day. Coffee always available too with friendly staff. Restaurants and bakery are there too.

This is a good market for the area. I usually stop by here for waters and some snacks on some long drives. The parking lot has plenty of room and is really nicely paved. The people are friendly as well. Whats really great about this place is that its open at 6 am!

Always super nice folks working there...amazing the amount and diversity of foods and snacks. Plus it's a nice halfway point to stop en route to Anza.
