This location seems to not care about the closing hours its been a several times i come and its closed at 9pm like today when clearly online and on maps it says 10pm i dont know if its the night crew or if they haven't updated their hours

1 Cashier and 12 people waiting in line.AWAYS A SHORTAGE OF CASHIERS.The restrooms are absolutely FILTHY.PEOPLE YOU DESERVE BETTER SHOP ELSEWHERE.THIS PLACE NEEDS NEW MANAGMENT BIG TIME.UNBOXED PRODUCTS LINE THE ISLES LIKE A WAREHOUSE.Very very poor management AND EXTREMELY LONG WAIT TIME TO PAY FOR TO PAY FOR THIS JUNK.Harold

I usually shop from this store for the suitable prices that offer. I notice once in a while some rotten vegetables but never cared since the commerce not supervising these stores, nonetheless, my son grabbed me to get him sausage bun, I was totally shocked when found these buns fulled with molds and was very clear till the point where changed the bread color. I hope someone pay attention for people’s safety. This time I will do my utmost effort to reach out to the higher authority for this and other issues on this store with well documented proofs.

Do not go here after 9PM. 12/20/23 I went for a quick produce/refrigerated food run after work and there were a few transients lingering outside of the store and inside of the store. I was by the refrigerated food isle and all of a sudden practically all the lights went out and who I presume was a transient male (I don’t mean to impose judgement but the man look disheveled) he crept up behind me and said, “Put everything you can in your pockets”.I was shocked and disturbed. The lights turned on and when I was about to grab my final item, I couldn’t even grab the more commercial sodas because they hadn’t (or were in the process of) restocking. Saw the transient male again and it just ruined my shopping experience. Not the first time super sus incidences happened at this 99cents store but I suppose, should I expect anything less?Go here in groups ladies or have your self defense items in yo purse or have your guard up as soon as you step out of your vehicle. Park in a well lit area but not even in the very front because the transients linger there. I suppose these transients are from the fact that Santee has the last trolley stop East county?

Bad all around , the manager Patricia is a rude person , head her in the next aisle speaking about an employee in the worst derogatory terms. And also commenting on his sexual history. Unprofessional. Tried calling corporate, either no answer or brushed off.

This place is horrible!! Land of the classless!!!! Very dirty store!!! The management seems to be on drugs or maybe just a different planet!! I will give up shopping at this store until there is a turn around!
