Very nice people, the 1 star people just really want attention. If I get to talk about money then yes, 5 stars.

Had a situation where my bank account number was stolen from the mail. Although there was no avenue to address the problem through the weekend. :( and it took 25 min to get through to fraud first thing on Monday morning.... I was then referred to my local branch to set up new accounts. And that's where this review begins. The Santee branch was very accommodating and helpful. Sofia set things up. It was a long process, but She was very compassionate and efficient in getting things straightened out. She also brought in her manager, Richard, who was equally helpful and professional and seemed to be very knowledgable. I also dealt with him the next day, when I needed to bring in my husbands signatures, and he expedited getting me what I needed. A very good, pleasant experience given a disconcerting situation.

Thanks for offering sincere and prompt customer service; Richard. I would compare you to Jesus, but related to the bank world. Maybe that's sac religious, I'm not sure; but I do know I came in dreading my banking experience and all the potential frustrations but left with a feeling of relief mixed with satisfaction. Thank you. The most important quality in regards to a business is how you treat people. These guys seem to know how to do just that.

I went in to make a deposit. I have not been to this branch in a very long time because I moved. I used to live very close . I started to say hi to the teller and tell her how different the branch looked and she interrupted me and did not care to have any conversation . Could not even say have a good day nothing . Not saying we all to be perfect and friendly. But some common courtesy would have been nice.

Second attempt to open an account with them and second time I was held waiting for close to an hour. The people there seemed friendly because the bank employeeI I was waiting on to open the account with. Held a 30 minute conversation with a customer. I can't say anything negative about their service for I have yet to become a member. Though not from a lack of trying. Lol

I have been a member for over 35 years my experience has been mostly positive thank you Unfortunately due to Covid the lines at the Santee locations very long.. okay I get it but as I wait in line I have to listen to the security guards conspiracy theories about Marshall law and other very unprofessional comments I was there today around 3:30 please talk with him and others this is not appropriate at a business to speak about. Wow

Friendly service. COVID-19 compliant with limited access and thorough disinfecting. Drive thru and walk up ATMs.

Received amazing customer service from Caterina Ferrantello at the office on Ruffin rd. I was picking up a check for my loan. She was very patient and even stayed past closing so that I left with it that day, being I needed it right away. All around a very good experience!!

Drive up ATM is often down. Yesterday did not return all my money when it had a problem processing my deposit after hours. Now I have to place a claim when offices are open tomorrow

I've been with this credit union for over 10 years. Overall, I've enjoyed banking with this institution. However, have had my share of disappointments mostly customer service related. The tellers, however, are always super friendly and helpful.Recently, my husband and I had been using my account for things like vacations and keeping the balance relatively low. We had some automatic payment set up that we forgot to put a stop on and my account went negative 10 dollars. Because of stay at home orders, I didn't think it was essential to walk into the bank to deposit money and correct this. But apparently I should have...the credit union closed my account and didn't provide me with any notice written or otherwise. I walked in to deposit a check my uncle gave me for my birthday and found out that my account was closed. The teller was super sweet and helpful and just needed some authorization override. When the supervisor(?) came to the window, she was visibly annoyed and rude...the teller was going to cash the check and take out of the check the negative 10 dollars my account was in. The supervisor was abrasive and again incredibly rude-- "DO YOU KNOW WHO WROTE THE CHECK?!" I responded "Um yes, I do...it's my uncle"...she had some eye rolls and annoyed sighs that followed and I finally just said "look, I have the cash, just here's 10 dollars and you can give me my check back--would that be easier?" I was met with even more eye rolls and head shakes from this lady. Handed in the money and got my check back and then my husbands turn. He was shocked with how this lady was treating me and wanted to close his account. We had a money order from the US post office and she snarked "WE CANT CASH THIS IF YOU ARE CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT" at this point we both just wanted to get out of there and never bank with them again. We already bank with another bank so closing this account did not have that much of an impact on our lives, but I was appalled at how rude this woman was to us. Also, I think it speaks volumes to any banking establishment who closes a persons account for going ten dollars in the negative in the middle of a pandemic. The app wouldn't let me do mobile deposit because it was in the negative and I was airing on the side of caution and avoided going into the bank assuming my credit union would have an iota of understanding. That was not the case. What a sincere disappointment.

My parents and I have used this bank for years. The manager, Beverly, doesn't hesitate to help you any way she can. The tellers are friendly and great you.

This credit union will rob you in hidden fees, and nsf charges. Their customer service team is rude.

I applied for a loan 7/22. I explained I need to submit EVERYTHING now so they don't come back later when I'm out of town to ask for something causing a delay. If course took several days to decide they couldn't read a number ( which was easily able to figure out by the line above and below ) I was told they would expedite because if that delay since I was out of town. So what's the date today??? 9/26 still no Update: October 15th!! Not done yet!

I closed my account on July 23, 2019. California Coast still has not sent me the cashier's check from what was left in my account. It is over 30 days and they tell me I need to buy a security bond to cancel the cashier's check in order to cancel it and resend it. Are you kidding me? I don't think they ever sent it. They claim it is lost in the mail. Not a way to do business.
