I now buy my dog's cushings disease medication at Costco. It's 20% less expensive that at my vet's office. They stated that they couldn't touch Costco's pricing.

Needed insulin pen tip needles for my cat's insulin that I get elsewhere, I have gotten them many times here before with no problem but apparently now they need my cats prescription for an over the counter product? Also they said they can't get the same needles anymore because they aren't ordered frequently. Called Poway Costco and they ordered them right away with no problems, no prescription needed, and I can pick up the next day. Make this make sense. I have to drive an extra 15 minutes to Poway to get them now but it will be worth it to not deal with the bad customer service here anymore.

Just the worst. Always had high standards for Costco since I've shopped there my whole life (including optometry and rip photo dept) but my first experience here was the worst. The gals who answer the phone are always disgruntled, rude and literally have no customer service skills. I was not alerted or called by Costco to let me know there was an issue with my prescription, I did not receive a text or email for days. When I finally called and asked about this they mentioned there was an issue and I had to call my DR but that I wasn't enrolled in texts/email notifications and that's why I haven't been contacted. Cool? Flash forward after a week of back and forths I left a voicemail, no updates and when I finally called employee Margaret (whom I talked to before) mentioned that it was ready. I asked how come I wasn't contacted and again that I wasn't signed up for texts. So that means no one gets a phone call?? Not standard for any pharmacy, but sounds like Costco just doesn't care.Anyway- employees seem to hate working here which is fine, but don't rub it off on the customers. Hope the employees find greener pastures so that we can have a pleasant Costco experience one day....

Awful experience with the flu shot I got there last Tuesday. She when too far up with the needle in my arm, it it literally took the nerve out of fingers leaving numbness and pain in my inner palm.I believe she should be re-train again.

I don't understand all the hate. Costco pharmacy undercuts even Wal-Mart for most meds and you're surprised the staff is young and inexperienced? As long as I get the right meds at a competitive price without waiting too long I don't mind. Bonus for not having to go into Wal-Mart.

Best prices and friendly customer service! Even the pharmacists get in the picture - offering you great advice and alternative items you can use to enhance the medication. Very good staff!

By far the worst Costco in the entire San Diego region. Every time my wife and I come here we are brushed aside by rude employees trying to get where THEY need to be and leaving us customers by the way side. When we make it to the line the cashiers seem to be to busy for us, cant talk with us, and rush us a long. This is not the experience I get at ANY other costco. Either it is poor management or they just hire crappy employees. I went yesterday and as I was waiting in line at the cash register I called in a pizza. It took about 7 tries before they actually picked up, when they did I was told it would be an hour wait. I decided to call La Mesa instead, and when I checked out and left the store I saw like 3 people in line at the food court. Walking by they were moving very slow and didnt seem to have a lot going on. Seems like they didnt want to make a pizza 45 minutes before closing. Best place about this location is the gas station, you dont have to interact with any of their employees.

Only giving three stars to this location because of the very friendly cashier Anita and a few others who's genuinely made me laugh, and of course that it's Costco Wholesale. They have what I want/need in bulk. But it's not five stars because EVERY SINGLE TIME I'm in line to exit the store to have my receipt and purchased items inventoried, there's a few people in front of me with their carts at full capacity that takes less than 5 seconds to check because they scan and send them on their way. But when I approach they make eye contact with me, I hand them my receipt averaging about 8 to 12 items every time I shop, which never fills up my basket Leaving enough room for them to scan and verify that everything in the basket is on the receipt. For some reason it takes about 30 to 40 seconds to verify items on the receipt. Entirely too long in comparison to the people before me and after me. I am an African American male and those before and after me are either Caucasian, Arabic, or Hispanic. After the fourth time this has happened, I began to document it. The point is that this Costcos' receipt checkers don't do their job until I approach. It's beginning to become annoying.
