One CVS did not have my daughter's prescription in stock so they called it into this CVS. It was supposed to be ready 5hrs ago. When I got her they said it is not ready and we have to wait 30 min. Amateur Hour!!!!! The only reason it was not ready is because the pharmacist was being lazy.

I stop using this CVS for last two years. today I just had to get some thing ASAP. I stop by pharmacy to get some consultation but pharmacist was busy with a different patient which I really understand that and was two more people there looking at me and ignoring for quite bad of time I don't know what is the reason off this much rudeness ?Why no one care about the customer service? Why no one can train these people ?It's a really shame, shame shame

Be sure to double check with the Minute Clinic right after you book your appointment online to see if they accept your insurance because I wasted my morning waiting for my appointment in the waiting area for 30 minutes only to find out they don't accept Anthem Blue Cross HMO. When you make your appointment online, they don't tell you whether or not your insurance is accepted or not so it feels like a huge scam. It baffles me that they seemed so surprised that my insurance wasn't accepted EVEN THOUGH I entered all of my information and photos of my insurance card online when booking the appointment prior to coming in. Does no one check for this prior to the patients coming in? Because if that's the case, that's completely disorganized and irresponsible on their end. Someone should call the patients to let them know before coming in. They get you in there, tell you the insurance isn't accepted and if you're in really bad shape with no other choice you'll probably feel obligated to just pay the $200 for the test. Fortunately I wasn't too sick, so I walked out of there not paying and using any of their services but it all just gave me a bad feeling like I was getting scammed. I feel ethically this is wrong and they should be telling you at the time of the appointment or someone from the Minute Clinic should be calling in advance so people aren't wasting their time. Especially if they can still find another clinic or office that DOES accept their insurance. Surprised but not surprised with the way CVS handles the level of customer service. This is why I changed pharmacies.

All the reviews on here are the same. They pharmacy is a disaster. Everyone in that pharmacy should be banned from the industry. Besides being incompetent, they're also rude, sadistic and unhelpful. There is a reason that all yelped that the pharmacy is trash.

I am very disappointed in this pharmacy. They first time I tried to use a GOOD RX card I was told, "You have insurance so you don't need this". I thought that was a mistake and researched it later. I should be able to use the card if it is cheaper than insurance. The next time I tried to use AARP discount card I was told, "Your prescription is only $8.00". Still, this is medication I will be on for life, so if I can get it cheaper using the discount card then apply it for me! Apparently, they are against customers using prescription discount cards. I understand they lose a few bucks on this and banking on customers purchasing other items while in the store. Taking my business to Walgreens Pharmacy where they are super nice.

Went in to grab a case of beer and see if they had a type of medicine in stock and the old man working there followed my friends and I around the whole store, pretending to adjust items (conveniently wherever we went). He thought we were going to steal. Then he wouldn't come back to the register when we wanted to pay, so we had to ring the bell for someone else to come. They also can't spell accepting or inconvenience ?

Always found the staff to be helpful, even when the occasional computer glitch surfaces.

This CVS pharmacy in Santee has improved a little bit, but is still pretty bad.If you can utilize the pre-pay feature on the app, then do so. It'll save you time. However, on the app there is no way to apply a Good RX or any other coupon. So, if you've got a coupon the app is rendered useless. If you do pre-pay, CVS will send you a bar code. Theoretically the pharmacist simply scans the code and you're good to go. Theoretically... The bar code will not work. At least it never has for me. The app is pretty bad anyway. It is not user friendly and it crashes. A lot.Pro Tip: Give yourself extra time if you have a Good RX coupon. In store, Good RX coupons always seem to create an issue. There will be some sort of problem with them redeeming it. Trust me on this.

Well, the pharmacy got a new manager...Spoke to him about issues with the pharmacy. He said he was aware of them and would do his best to improve. Last night I called the pharmacy (always a nightmare) and the new manager answered the phone. I was relieved as I thought my request for delivery through the care pass system would actually happen. I am disabled, can't drive in and pickup my meds. He said it was all setup and would be delivered the next morning. NOPE, didn't get setup. I didn't receive my meds I needed to take in the AM.I'm having to get a family member to go in and pickup my meds the new manager failed to get delivered. So disappointed with this place. So much for trusting that the new manager can do what he has said he was going to do. Here we go again....The never ending nightmare of the CVS pharmacy. I think they may have lost me. I'm disgusted with the continued poor customer service, lack of training new staff and the shortage of staff. Another poor review to add to the many. How long is it going to take corporate to take notice???A VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!

I usually use the cvs pharmacy off fletcher pkwy and they’re always great. This time, my husband was prescribed antibiotics and cough medicine for pneumonia late at night and we had to go to a 24 hour pharmacy so we chose santee. The urgent care called in the medications so when we got to the pharmacy 45 minutes later, we were surprised we had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the prescription to be filled. No big deal, we walked around the store and bought a few other items to make my husband feel better. We got back in line to pick up the prescription and waited another 25 minutes in line. There was ONE person working the register and in the middle of a huge line of customers, he walked out to take his break. Now we’ve been waiting almost an hour. We get to the front of the line finally and they tell us they only filled one of the three prescriptions. They claim one medication wasn’t in stock and instead of forwarding the prescription to another pharmacy, they refused to do anything about it. “Call back tomorrow, maybe it’ll be in, maybe it won’t. We don’t know.” When asked about the second prescription she said they only had the 100mg tablets instead of the 200mg tablets and that they weren’t going to fill it and that we should again call back tomorrow to see if they were in stock yet. I asked if my husband could just take 2 100mg tablets since that was all they had in stock. She rolled her eyes and said she would get around to it when she could. We proceeded to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes before she even started to fill the prescription. We waited almost two hours at this horrible pharmacy and still don’t have one of his medications. She was trying to deny us his medications because it was inconvenient for her. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and needed these medications! We will NEVER go back to this pharmacy. EVER. They were the absolute rudest, most unprofessional people we’d ever met.

Prescription was called in 4 days in advance for pain medication for an upcoming surgery. It has been 5 days and I day past my surgery and my prescription is still not ready. Worst pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of using. I will be switching.

The clinic here does not take Scripps insurance. So go elsewhere if you have it. They also essentially told me there was nothing they could do for my issue and recommended i go see a PCP who could then refer me to the doctor i actually needed to see. Charged me $140 out of pocket to essentially do nothing. Will not be going here again.
