I am so pleased to say that I have had the best experience with Firestone. But I did not catch the guys name this morning but he helped me get my jeep in for an alignment. I had no appt and I was desperate due to my wheel was turned left to even go straight. I am so pleased with them and how they made me feel at ease. Thank you Firestone keep up the great work. Your employees are awesome.

This company is ripping us off. My family has worked in the industry for 20 years and this place is ridiculous. They quoted me a recommendation for spark plugs. It's part of the 100k service, I'm at 90k, a little early, but whatever. They're quoting me $32.99 per spark plug. That's nearly a 250% markup from list. You can literally buy the exact same spark plug, same part #, from O'Reilly for $13.49. And O'Reilly is in the same parking lot as Firestone. WT$? Not to mention they get a discount off of that $13.49 as they have an account. And don't tell me it's because they get them from the dealer. Car manufacturers don't make spark plugs and you can order "oem" mopar plugs, still the same NGK IX plugs from mopar direct for $15. To add insult to injury they're charging $64.99 for fuel system service labor, they're pouring fuel system cleaner in your gas tank. That's right, with parts and labor $134.99 to put fuel injector cleaner in your gas tank. At that price, go to the dealer with factory techs. I always hated when people felt as a dealer we were just ripping them off, we weren't, but Firestone is.

Brought my truck in for an oil change and battery replacement. During their work, they rolled down the power windows and couldn't get the window to roll back up. Basically told me "too bad" and there's nothing they can do, so now I'm stuck with a car in worse shape then when I brought it in. Window is stuck down with a storm coming and anybody can get into my car. I won't ever come here again, and if you're smart, you won't either.

The team at the Firestone location I utilize is great! Had an issue coming back from a trip and stopped in at the store before getting home. Isaac made an appointment for me for the next day, even though short-staffed. Brought car in, and didn't wait in-store per usual and I hadn't heard from them, so I came into the store. Paul assured me it would be finished that day, but might be shortly after normal store hours. I went for a bite to eat for dinner, came back and sat for just a few minutes, but they got it done in the one day. It was after hours, and longer than expected, but understanding they were down two techs, I was pleased they didn't just close up shop at 6:00 saying "Oh, well! We'll get it to you tomorrow." I appreciate their taking the time and staying overtime to make sure I got my car back and wouldn't be inconvenienced further. Kuddos to the Firestone Santee team! Paul is used to my "camping out" in the store when I am in for servicing, but is was nice to also get to know Ruby better this time and chat as she checked my car out. Thanks team Santee!

Update 2: I found a new local shop and will only be coming here for my lifetime alignment.Update: 12/18/23: I asked the man at the counter, I believe his name is Paul, if they could check my brakes back in October. He told me no because I wasn't hearing any noises. Now, two months later, I was hearing terrible metal grinding noises and lo and behold, I needed a full brake job in the back and needed to replace both rotors. His negligence, laziness, or whatever you want to call it, cost me an extra $250+. The other workers here are awesome, just be careful if you are talking to Paul. I'm happy with the brake job and brake fluid exchange. I could tell a huge difference in performance immediately.10/23 Ask about each charge, I had to have one removed for my tire purchase. They let me know that my coolant and oil was low, with no offer or price to top off. When I went to fill my coolant at home, the cap was not on. That being said, they were polite and did the tire change and lifetime alignment quickly.

Lied and told me something on one side of my car “absolutely” needed to be fixed, and he didn’t sell them individually, so I had to buy a pair. Just to upsale me for $700. Another time tried to tell me that my brakes “really” needed to be changed. This time I knew better and said funny because I just got them changed a few months ago. He said “oh uh I mean your brake light”. They ended up changing that for free for the mistake. I no longer come to Firestone, they are untrustworthy and I feel like they took advantage of my lack of car knowledge.

I always leave feeling like they gave me the best deal they could. They're always helpful in terms of what has to happen now vs. what can wait a few months. Definitely make an appointment, though - they're popular, and while they are great about fitting you in where they can, don't expect to just walk in off the street and get something done while you wait.

Usually a good place to go for tires. I was told they had a tire in stock and they could squeeze us in (Sunday). After waiting for the tire to be located, we were informed the tire wasn't in stock ? grrrrr
