The man who was working there at 2:30pm on 11/23/25 needs to be retrained or removed from their position. I was being helped by a young man with my purchase when what looked like a supervisor or manager spoke to the employee with such disrespect when he didn't do anything wrong. Its disgusting to speak to employees the way he did and in front of customers. 5 below treat your staff better.

Whoever was working 5/4/25 at 12:45pm shouldn’t be in customer service. I came to pick up toy that was not ready, and the man was so rude to me. He then stated that they don’t have the toy I stock, and claims he rejected my order but my money has not been returned.
If I see him again, and get rude treatment a second time I will be speaking with a supervisor.

Use to like going to Below 5 in Santee. But last 2 times been horrible. Dirty, crap all over floor, boxes everywhere. Really can’t find anything. Need more staff!

This store had a lot of stuff. The organization was a little off and staff was not too helpful in locating items that website said the location had in stock. (To be fair the staff was really friendly and tried to help. But didn’t have full knowledge of inventory.) Also if there’s a self checkout why does an associate have to ring in items for you? Found it a bit of wasted effort the employee is having to do.

This is the first time I’ve ever been into this actual location. I’ve been to several other locations from Virginia Beach to San Diego to Santee. The Santee location is the dirtiest I’ve ever been in ever. I didn’t even get halfway through the store and was overwhelmed with trash and dirt on the floor candy wrappers just plain filthy and it’s barely noonon a Tuesday afternoon I turned around and left because it was disgusting. Y’all need to do better. There’s no reason why the store should look that dirty. Do you guys own a broom seriously?
