I love this branch ./ beauty . i always get my perfumes from here .Taghreed is the best in customer service ..She always welcomes customers with a big smile and she does her best to help .whenever there's a deal in beauty she makes sure to text me so I can get discounts and best deals on fragrances .. thank you Taghreed and thank you Macy Santee for having the best deals ..

We have a very bad experience today, my son in the fitting room and he got stuck inside room 5 we called them after a while one of them came in and did nothing they asked my son to jump and brought him a small ladder with 2 steps but the door it’s too high and he almost fell and got hurt then they called someone it’s suppose to be the manager or working there he just take a look and couldn’t do anything no body took a serious action!!! My son been scared and nervous then we took an action by broken this fricken door,i don’t know why no one taking care of the maintenance and the safety of the customers.if something happened to my Son or my husband who’s open this door ,who will be responsible!!!’

I don't know why this Macy's is so little. I had to wait 20 minutes in line because all the registers were in the front of the store. Except for makeup, the felmale customers were becoming like Karen's, and the associates in that department didn't seem to care. It's like shopping at Ross or TJMaxx, and I couldn't get any help on the sales floor. Gift Warp is unavailable at this store, along with alterations. :( I miss the Macy's in shopping malls. Where registers were in almost every department with people to work them.

Makeup department has no customer service. This was my 4th attempt to purchase something and I was not even acknowledged when walking into the department. I noticed shortly after a white man with two children passed through and was greeted wonderfully. I’ve come several times but they are always “doing someone’s makeup” or just not available at all. I reached out to another employee and asked before I exited the store and they said to “go ask her.” However macys in other parts of San Diego have excellent service!

Taghrerd from the makeup department was extremely rude to me for absolutely no reason. I was trying literally 2 lipstick to choose one, and she came to say “which one are you going to purchase today “ kept standing in front of me and was just giving me an attitude. She was also giving me a lecture with such an attitude about testers. I repeat TESTERSThis happened feb 29th of 2024 days at around 6:20 pm

So as you can see from the other reviews, many people liked this Macy's store but unfortunately, I was not one of them. I will start by saying if you are shopping for home or kitchen, then don't waste your time, as these items are not available at this store. If you are looking for make-up, women's hand bags or shoes, there is a decent collection but not many sales associates to help you. If you are a woman looking for clothes, with the exception of the Anne Klein items, many of the clothes are cheaply made. In light of this, the prices seem high. But then again, everything is more expensive now. Overall, this is a decent size store, with a lot of stuff, but not much quality. I recommend going to this store, only if you are planning on going to other stores in this shopping center, or are planning to eat nearby. Otherwise, save your time and buy online.

I went in with my girlfriend today to smell perfumes she likes for our anniversary coming up and the whole time the lady working the perfume section would not stop following us and staring at us literally less then 3 feet away . We told her when we first came in that we didn't need help and that we were just smelling different perfumes. She proceeds to follow us around the whole entire perfume and men clogne section an ask us if we know we know what we are smelling like we are lost children . The lady had glasses and brown hair . Couldn't shop in peace :(
