Had a great service experience with Gabe in the service department. Took in my CRV because the ac was not working when the car was idling but worked fine at any speed above standing still. The Honda service writer told us our ac system had black death and said we needed a full AC replacement at a cost of $4700. I took it to pep boys and they reported that the issue was likely the AC compressor. It was either starting to get weak or the clutch was going bad. They inspected for Black Death (contaminated oil in the lines) and there was none present. We decided to replace the compressor and recharge the system at a cost of $457. Ac works great at idea now. Gabe was very friendly and honest, I will now be taking my cars for service to Pep Boys

Made an appointment and after two hours they still hadn’t looked at my car. Overpriced as well. Wasted my time and my time is very limited. I left and will never go back

This always was our families go to for oil changes, tires, ect. But it's unfortunately going down hill and we won't be back. There has been a lot of staff turn over and not for the better. I was in last week and the guy behind the desk was vapping with customers, including a child present. Is that even legal?

Tom is great, but the service guy on duty couldn't put in my thermostat for a trivial reason. Ended up needing to cancel my birthday to take it to another PepBoys with a better tech.
