Came here midweek to look at appliances and not busy at all. Two ladies on their phones just couldn't care less about two different customers. The store is maintained and kept well organized, but lacks employees that give a care.

I changed this review from one star to 3 because I did get a call from the actual store manager just after I posted this and he did all the things I would expect, he listened to me and it all got resolved. Leaving my original comments because it should have been resolved long before he got involved.....I really tried not to have to leave such a bad review for H.D. and it could have been avoided but the associates I dealt with either could not or would not do what was needed to satisfy a customer. All it would have taken was a 40.91 refund on a 1280.00 order for a product they misdelivered which was a 1000lb bag of DG I couldn't exactly carry in for an easy exchange. I am still entitled to the refund but the entire mess caused me to have to go to the store 4 times so far (including the purchase) and still a 5th to actually get the $40.91 the least helpful was a manager named Jonathan I talked with today 1/11/24 who didn't even care enough to take the time to listen to my problem even when I asked him to please not make me come back a 5th time to get one order straight. There was one person who did listen and did his best during one of my trips. It was the M.O.D. on 1/9 Jose who I know will take care of it when he next works. The reason for this review is no customer should ever have to experience what I did to get what they had already paid for. A complete failure of a retail transaction. GD

We found a great Christmas tree at Home Depot. Service from the guys working the tree area was superb. The guy cut the trunk so it was straight and trimmed the bottom branches. He put it ito the orange netting and even offered to load it for us. No need, I was perfectly capable of tossing it into the back of the pick-up. They had Noble firs and Douglas firs that I saw in a variety of sizes. We scored a 6'-7' foot Douglas for $54.98.

I give 1 star because there was 1 lady in the cabinet department that actually did help us. Other than that, everyone complained about where we put our cart (not assisting in moving it through the maze of displays ) when we had to get another cart. Getting help loading , the box the toilet was in had the bottom open and when I pointed out that my sister and I would probably need that closed when we got it home, the guy begrudgely went and got some packing tape. As the box is pretty damaged, I hope the contractors when they unbox it will find it unchipped and not cracked. Appartently this is a small store and was even told to maybe look at El Cajon or Lemon Grove store for products, which we had to do for the other things on our list. Just don't expect friendly help at this store.

Bustling & busy parking lot, but once you're inside it's not bad at all. Full stocked everywhere, it's the best stocked & well put together Home Depot I've been in! Plenty of customer service reps everywhere for assistance. Well stocked & clean store. Lots of products to choose from, from various companies.

Santee home depot needs to step it up for their handicap customers. They shouldn't have to walk all the way from the sheds to the front door of the store because they're using the closer ones for their convenience for their merchandise. And rentals

My husband and I went to Home Depot in Santee the other day. Looked for something for our bathroom and while doing so, my husband asked an employee, who just happened to be walking by, for some advice. Cheryl was very helpful. She was very knowledgeable, down to earth and easy to communicate with. As it turned out, I needed to return the item and looked for a different one the next day. Cheryl saw me, recognized my face and ask how the item had turned out. Told her there was and issue and now I was getting a different one. The fact that she recognized me, took the time to inquire about my experience and then even asked if I had any fun plans for the rest of the day because of the impending hurricane, shows me what great customer service she gives. Told her how much that was appreciated! And also very happy the new item is just right!

First off, I totally agree with some of the other posters about the poor management of this Santee Home Depot its atrocious. The so-called management consists of two individuals whose poor customer service wouldn't even make them qualified to run a Lemonade stand! let alone a big box store such as this Home Depot. First I dealt with the assistant manager and what a lazy good for nothing he is! copes a belligerent attitude right away with you and makes no attempt whatsoever to listen or help you deal you with the issues you're having with whatever shoddy product you got stuck with and home depot's so called 90 day return policy must be pure BS because these clowns have no intention of honoring it whatsoever and tried to palm me off to the manufacture talk about getting the huffle shuffle these two are masters at it. As far as the manager of the store is concerned he is no better I told him of the issues I was having with a recent purchase missing parts he said he would help and Emailed me and asked for copies of my receipts which I sent Him directly, Absolutely no response from him after over ten days and one day directly after I provided that info my bank informed me via Email that someone was trying to hack into my Home Depot account, while I am not pointing a finger the timing looks very very suspicious. To tell you the truth I have never seen a more poorly run Home Depot like this in my life. and all this hassle over basically a ten-dollar missing part left out of the box by some poorly paid moron in China. Save yourself the headaches of dealing with such petty arrogance and incompetence and unless you're an absolute glutton for punishment you will shop at a better ran Home Depot or take your business down the street to Lowes or Dixieline you will be way better off! and get far better customer service.

We have bought euphorbia/pencil cactus/coral plants from Home Depot in the past. Well not under Edith's watch in the Garden Center -- we were told to ask her for help by another associate and she decided to berate us for wanting the worst plant in the world and no they didn't have any because they are poisonous and dangerous. First she could ask us where we had in mind for planting them (on a hill to prevent trespassers onto our property) and second, she could leave her opinion and bad attitude at home and not force it on customers WHO HAVE BOUGHT THESE PLANTS FROM YOU BEFORE! Edith is doing a disservice to your store specifically and to the Home Depot brand more broadly. Please speak to her about her poor customer service so no one has to deal with that ever again. I've contacted Home Depot's corporate customer service about Edith as well.

This HD is so much less chaotic than the others. But I came here to say, I really appreciated Bobby's help today in tile. He was called overhead, stopped what he had been doing and came right over to help. Such a nice guy and I truly appreciate employees like this!

Last night I had to make a delivery to this store 11:30pm till 1am to unload I asked to use the restrooms and an employee let me in .when I came out of the restrooms this manager Eric was yelling and cussing about people like me are not allowed to be in his store because he is the manager and he doesn't care if a woman truck driver has to use the restrooms get out of his store .he was so angry spit comes out of his mouth while I had to walk next to him from 1 end of the store to the other end .nobody should be treated like this it's unprofessional and humiliating but I think it makes them feel good to treat others people like trash because their in charge of a store .without drivers delivery what are they going to sell
