Yesterday I received my fourth custom built piece of furniture from my favorite custom furniture store Purewood Furniture in Santee. From start to finish the experiences have been excellent - that's why I continue to go back to store owner Don for his initial design assistance, to build, to finishing and to delivery. The crew at Purewood have been fantastic, all of them. I started with a DVD shelf, then a double glass door cabinet with adjustable shelves and most recently a computer desk and a hutch built to my specs. I want to add that the hardware is top notch. My keyboard tray glides like on butter. And it's plenty sturdy. It's obvious that Purewood has a passion for excellence. It shows in the work they do. Details show the high quality they achieve. There's no cheap particleboard in the build, not even in the furniture backs, only beautiful grained Alder. I'll keep coming back because I'm convinced there is no better furniture store that can meet my needs, that offers plenty of choices in wood and finish. Whether its unfinished furniture or completely finished and delivered I am a very happy customer.

I have purchased muktippe items from this store. Both ore built and custom built. Prices are much better then other stores. The owner is smart and has great ideas. I have recommended to many friends and would recommend to others.

I’ve done business with Don for years now. I have two bedroom pieces, a bulky in the living room and now a dining room table with chairs. Everything has great quality, awesome value and Don is a sweetheart!

We had our dining table custom made 10 years ago by Purewood furniture. Don helped with the design and measurements.
After years of wear and tear with kids and such, we needed the table re-stained and refinished. Don remembered us and still had our original invoice with the information (stain color, etc). He did a great job then and now.
We had an amazing experience - great customer service, friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend Purewood furniture for excellent service and quality furniture.

Highly recommend this store! Having moved to San Diego about a year ago I was in need of some new furniture. I am so happy to have found Purewood. First all of the furniture is 100% wood and of a very good quality. Second, the store carries a variety of styles and they are able to order most anything to meet one's needs.
I spoke to Don, the owner of Purewood, as I was trying to match a table that I had bought a while back. He spent time to show me the style that I wanted and what the finished piece would look like. I have since bought several more items of furniture from Don and plan to continue purchasing from him.
Purewood Furniture is a must for anyone looking for good quality furniture, a reasonable price and a business that really works to meet the needs of their customers.

They have great real wood products that you can customize and provide great service. We bought our kitchen table from them in 2017, we picked the stain and paint color we wanted. It still looks good now in 2024. We just bought our master bedroom set from them and it looks beautiful!

Man I didn’t think there were any businesses like this any longer! The owner was genuinely committed to making sure I received exactly what I wanted, and for a fair price. He offered me all his options, explained the process of furniture building, and came through in the timeline that I needed. The final products are beautiful! Don’t make the mistake of assuming “unfinished” means low quality furniture. I’m extremely happy with the pieces, and it was a pleasure to spend my hard-earned money where the owner takes pride in his customer service. Thanks again Don!
