I have gone to Q’s in the past without issues. I will never go again after my visit two weeks ago. The lady that did my pedicure did a great job. But the lady that did my nails did horrible. Her painting was bad. What is worse is the damage that she did to my nails with her nail drill. She drilled into my real nails so much that she created divots. The half moons in the pictures that look like shadows on my nail are actually deep groves she drilled out. Im lucky she didn’t hit skin. No wonder why it hurt and I told her to go lighter. It is going to take months for this to heal so I can paint my nails again. They used to be good, but they are more concerned about pushing clients through than taking good care of your nails.

I've been to Q's Spa & Nail Bar once before this experience. I loved it. I went with my dad and we had a great time without a single issue. The staff was friendly and quick, and the nails were well done.I decided to go back to get a dip manicure but they were closed for renovations. "That's fine, I'll go somewhere else now and come back next time I need my nails done when they're open," I thought. So I did. And it was terrible.I wanted silver metallic chrome dip. I showed her the photo and she had to ask two to three other people if they even did that at this business. They said no. So she offered me a sparkly option. She gave me one of those samples and I chose the silver sparkly one since it was the closest to the chrome I originally wanted. Then she began to do my nails. Not only did this process take TWO HOURS to simply get my previous dip manicure off and get a new set with only my natural nails, they look TERRIBLE. I have not a clue why she would put black underneath the sparkles, as it just makes them look dirty. Why not put pink or white? The sparkles are splotchy because she only did one layer for some reason. The texture of the nails is not smooth at all. Also, she didn't ask about putting black on my nails. (I came in with a regular black dip manicure so maybe she thought I wanted that, but I'm still super confused on that one. Would have been amazing if she would have just asked/clarified.) I don't know much about the dip process, as this was only the second time, so I put my faith in her that she would have more knowledge about them than I and do them well, as it is quite literally her entire job description.I asked others from my work and my friends if they looked as bad as I thought and they all said "Yes, they look awful." (great confidence booster by the way). One of my friends even asked why I'd paid for it at all (I didn't expect to be there for 2 hours, making me almost late for work, so I just rushed out of there and told myself I'd deal with it tomorrow). Another person at work said it looked like a "talented child did them". I didn't disagree. So I decided to try to go back to get my money back the next day. I didn't have two hours of my morning before work to set aside for them to fix my nails and, quite frankly, I didn't want them to touch my nails ever again, so I asked for a refund. The disrespect I received when I asked for that refund was unmatched. Not only did he laugh in my face, he began speaking to another woman who worked there (I assume the assistant manager, but I'm not too sure) and then they began laughing together too. Laughing at a customer, in front of a customer, is wild to me and I've worked at some terrible establishments. He said that because I "left satisfied", I couldn't get a refund. The only thing that he said he could do was to fix it FOR A DISCOUNT OF NOT EVEN 50%. Not get all of my money back for the problem that they started. I would think at a business like this where the reviews are so good, would have better customer service as to not LAUGH at the customer right in front of them.It was truly wild. I've never had a nail salon experience like this.Attached are the nails that they expected me to love.

I decided to give this place a try after seeing on the Facebook page that they “specialize in artistic nails” and after seeing all the photo of beautiful nail designs on their page! However, I came in with a reference photo of a french tip with small, simple halloween design. My nail tech made a scared face when I showed this but proceeded anyways. (They did not turn out even close to the photo) Also during my time there, I overheard 2 other nail techs tell customers they were not comfortable with custom designs. I feel mislead as 3 different techs are “not good at designs” when they advertise to specialize in “artistic nails”Unfortunate because the execution of the nails was great, but design was disappointing.Update: it has been two days and the polish is already coming off my nails. Very disappointed!

I will never understand why nail techs insist making nails look so thick- the tech left alot of glue on my fingers, crooked shaping, not a good job cleaning up my nails or cuticle I asked for to be cleaned before we started.I asked for short nails and so when she added layers of acrylic they ended up looking bulby thick even tho I said thin/natural. I ended up going to a different salon to get them fixed because they were bumpy too. So disappointed. I won’t be back.

I have been a loyal customer of Q’s nails for almost 2 years. Wendy is usually the technician who does my nails. She’s amazing and so are many of the other technicians. On 7/9 I made an appt for an acrylic nail takeoff. I came in and was assigned Holly, who has actually done my nails before. I sat down and asked her if she could use the acrylic nail cutter instead of the regular nail clippers to trim my nails before she began to soak them. I even explained in vietnamese that the tip cutters feel better on my hands since they’re very sensitive. She adamantly refused and was very vocal about how annoyed she was that I asked her to use a different tool to cut down my nails. Additionally claiming she did not have this tool. That’s odd because everyone in the salon has this tool since it is used to cut the tips on a full set and even another technician gave Holly her cutter to use. In vietnamese I asked Holly what was going on and why she was being so aggressive to me? Holly got very mad and stood up from the table and said someone else can do my nails and stormed off. Other technicians and customers were staring at this point. In my time as a customer here I’ve never been so humiliated and embarrassed. The management has not even bothered to apologize even after I reached out on Facebook to send a message about my experience. It was just left as read. ☹️Sadly, I won’t be returning to this salon with my business. The good tech’s who work here don’t deserve to lose business because of the poor management and ignorance of other tech’s, that’s really sad. They should go work at a salon with better management and coworkers who don’t yell at customers

They are ok. My apt ended about an hour and a half ago and some polish on my toes has already chipped off and some polish on my nails chipped. All I did was drive home and change a diaper. The staff is friendly but I’m just not a big fan of the qualityServices: Pedicure

There is a reason this place is busy, even on a very rainy Wednesday morning! Everyone here has a positive attitude and seems to truly enjoy their work. To top it all off, every time I go, I leave with gorgeous nails!

I came here with my cousin. They greeted us as we walked in! We picked out our colors for our pedicures. The best part was once we were ready, they brought us a completely drink (mimosas)! I enjoyed the pedicure. The massage was wonderful and the tangerine scrub was to die for! Definitely will be back!
