Since I was in the area and needed a few things I came to this Albertsons. As I approached, store mode automatically opened on the app, which I find quite convenient. On entering the store I found myself surrounded by lots of ready made food options. You can find a Fresh Deli, Fresh Bakery items, and tons of packaged salad choices. There's a really nice meat counter called “Butcher Block”. The store itself is fairly large, and yet it is very clean and organized.
At checkout I tried self checkout. With store mode open on the app all I had to do was scan my member code, scan my items, pay, and I was out the door in a couple of minutes. I had a nice excursion at Albertsons.

Store is ok but don’t buy gift cards here they are tapped and will get used by someone else. I called the store to warn them and see how I can get reimbursed. Kara told me call the number on the receipt and as I tried to warn her that there are probably more bad cards so that they don’t sell to others she cut me off and said rudely call
The number on the receipt and hung up on me. So Kara was rude and I was trying to help so others don’t get screwed.

BEWARE!!! If you shop here and use self checkout you will be accused of STEALING!!! So today I went because the 12 packs of soda were on sale, buy 2 get 2 free! I was buying 8. I'm well aware it has to be rung up separate. Well I rung up my first 4. Then the register stopped working so I switched to the self checkout directly next to it. Paid and left. Well self checkout lady followed me out and was yelling but I couldn't hear her and I thought to myself well I paid so there shouldn't be an issue. Loaded all my groceries and got in my car. That's when I turn to look and the manager is at my car window accusing me of stealing. I showed him my receipts. HE STILL DIDNT BELIEVE ME!! He said but the register says you have a balance!! I literally showed him all the groceries in my car and the receipt. Still didn't believe me! They just couldn't understand the concept that I used a different register. I've been shopping at this grocery store for 3 years now regularly. I've never once been followed to my car and accused of stealing. Or been followed to my car and been demanded to show my receipt. This is not something I'm gonna let slide. Forget calling corporate, I'll be calling a lawyer. I've attached pics for reference of the ones who accused me of theft! Didn't even say sorry after I showed my receipts!! Embarrassed me for what?!?

I like this Albertsons. It's got a chill vibe. It's clean. Selection is great for vegetarians. There's a freaking DMV kiosk. But you know what really makes this place my new favorite supermarket? The employees. Everyone is so helpful and has a good attitude. I had a checker chase me out into the parking lot at full speed just to make sure I got some items I forgot to pick up. Honestly most grocery stores these days just feel so transactional. This reminds me more of a smaller town store and I appreciate that.

My wife and I shop here quite a bit. I went in today to exchange two air filters for the size that I needed and they didn't have them. Also I did not have my receipt however they were kind enough to give me a gift card for the full values of the one that I returned. We are regular customers but that service was well and above anything I had ever expected.
