While the staff there is really nice, one other client mentioned to me while she was in tears " They don't really help you here, do they...". This place is run more like an AA group rather than realizing what traumas the people that come to them really are going on if they aren't actually physical. While they seem very understanding, you have to be the one following up on things you need as sometimes, as a victim, you don't always know what they are. A little more understanding into what frame of mind their clients have would go along way. Reaching out to those they haven't heard from in awhile to see if they are ok, stop being afraid of going to court for people who really need that type of assistance because we are losing our custody battles because we don't know how to defend ourselves, and please dont recommend an attorney unless you know he wins cases and really cares about your clients because they do more harm than good and cost people their primary custody !!!
