Lupe is great! He assisted us set up a second tank for our betta fish. He answered all our questions very patiently and shared some advice to care for it. Another thing we love about Lupe and Petco is all fish in the store look like they’re truly cared for. All tanks in the store have lots of plants and fish seem happy. This is unlike other pet stores in the area. We’ll be coming back for sure!

Me and my wife just started coming here and we are new fish owners we just want to say how great Lupe in the aquarium section is with his customer service he answered all of our questions and gave us tips on how to care for the fish properly also tested our water aswell very knowledgeable in that department if you have any questions about fish go to him thanks Lupe👊

We have been buying fish and supplies for about 3 months from this store. The main reason we shop here is the knowledge that Lupe has about fish and plants. He is super friendly and helpful. The fish section is so busy and he is able to stay calm and upbeat. He is the type of employee who is management material. If I was the GM, I would do whatever I could to fast track him for a management position.

I had a fantastic experience at Petco thanks to Lupe! As a beginner starting my first big freshwater tank, I was overwhelmed by all the information online. When I walked into the fish section, Lupe greeted me warmly and offered his help. He patiently explained everything I needed to know and gave me a detailed plan for the upcoming months. His expertise and advice were far more helpful than any videos or forums I had found. Petco is lucky to have such a knowledgeable and passionate employee. Thanks to Lupe, I'll definitely be a returning customer!

The guy in the fish asile answered all my questions. He was super friendly. The lady Hope was very knowledgeable. I came to Petco balancing a jar of pondwater fish in a jar and within seconds Hope had me buy the water purifier so they would live longer then a week. The guy identified the pondwater fish that was striped and small as a convict cichlid. Then he helped me put the fish in an airtight bag to carry it home. Thank you so much! Be advised the fish food and other food may be pricier then the small family owned petco called Pet Supply and it's cheaper to get pets from someone or catch them yourself then buy them.

Lupe is fantastic!! Let me explain…. I’m Starting my first saltwater tank. It’s a daunting learning curve with all that goes into it so I stopped by this Petco to get some advice. As soon as I walked into the fish section Lupe greeted me and asked if I needed anything. I told him my aspirations and he took me on a deep dive by explaining to me all the ins and outs of the journey I was about to embark on with this hobby. I’ve spent soooo many hours watching countless videos, forums, blog sites, and been part of different social media groups. But nothing helped me more than my 30 minute conversations that I had with Lupe! Not only did he help me with what I needed at the time being but he put together a plan and coached me through what the next few months were going to look like and what to be expecting. This guy really knows his stuff and the Petco team here should feel extremely lucky to have him. To be honest I’m not entirely sure why he doesn’t have his own shop or his own business because he’s almost too knowledgeable. People like him are the reasons why establishments have returning customers even of it is a further drive from people like myself.
